I’m not tech savvy BUT even I was able to install this to my electric doorbell and “it works”! I am recommending it to anyone who’ll listen to me.

I installed this myself and usually not very good at it but, this was a snap and had everything you need to do it. I like the neighborhood alerts!

A friend of mine recommended this product and I’m glad we made the purchase. Setup was super easy and I like being able to see who is at the door.

Was easy to install and works great. only issue was lock screws stripped easy and company had to send new screws out. Ring was easy to work with.

This was very easy to install. Needed a better drill bit to make holes in brick. Setup in no time. Notification and motion detection works great.

So far...So good. Took a while to charge after being hard wired. They did say it would be a little slow with the colder weather. Works great now.

First, I don't have a hard wired doorbell. I'd tried a number of cheap battery powered doorbells (we're talking AA battery type doorbells). They died fast and were unreliable. Second, I work from home. I live in a "private" neighborhood with signs reading "No Solicitors" posted everywhere. Well, those are signs, not gates and fences, so solicitors come around anyways. Since I expect a lot of packages that I have to sign for, having to answer the door for solicitors can get tedious. After an unusually busy week of solicitors pounding on my door, I decided to get a Ring. Initially, everyone who saw it was put off by it. I guess some people don't like being on camera. Unfortunately for them, the convenience of knowing who is at my door, whether I'm away from home or on a business call, more than makes up for their discomfort. I've had it for a month or so and it still has a lot of battery left. Once it gets too low, I just have to unscrew it and charge it back up. The biggest "problem" was tweaking the motion detection, which still isn't perfect, but is necessary to catch the people who try to bypass the camera by pounding on the door instead. Also, some of the mobile alerts are inconsistent, though I blame the mobile apps for that. If you decide a Ring is for you, I'd definitely recommend getting one of the powered "chimes" to go along with it.

The ring video doorbell works well and notifies pretty quickly on my phone for both doorbell rings and proximity alerts however the notification tones are not loud enough and I can't figure out how to change them. I searched on google and found a couple of instructions how to do so, but none seem to be applicable to my specific software version. You should also be aware that if you want it to save video and not only be able to view the live stream, you need to pay a monthly or annual fee.

Ring has created an excellent product that not only works perfectly they have excellent after purchase service. I am now going to buy one of their new cameras.

But I have had the product for almost a year and it is outstanding. This along with the stick up cam is all I need to protect the Homeland. :-)

This doorbell is pretty good. I had to buy a wi-fi extender since my router would not reach my outside front door. Mine is hard-wired yet the phone app doesn't show that it's fully charged. I called the company and did a reset over the phone. This did not fix the problem. I will be calling the company again. It would be nice to be able activate the camera on command as opposed to being limited to motion or a doorbell press.

The video are clear, the sound quality also are good.. now I can view who ever comes to my front door.. I will recommend this item to anyone..

This item was easy to set up. I didn’t realize till after I purchased it that I have to pay a subscription to record video. also I wish the perimeter for motion was more adjustable. The way my house is set up I catch all the motion inside my door or on the street and the notifications get annoying.

Works great and easy to install. The only thing I cannot understand why it has to have a subscription if you need to save.

Ring works as advertised! Great to have another line of defense against the bad guys or simply family who you aren't interested in letting in.

Works most of the time, although sometimes the video does not record. But it is very cool to answer the door from anywhere in the house.

It is not always 100% accurate. I walk by it sometimes and it doesn't sense me. It does work when somebody approaches it.

It’s great to know at any time who is at your door.You can be in another state and talk to anyone who comes to your door.
