However, the videos quality is that great, it lags in its recordings, might be related to wifi. Also a subscription is required to view the recordings.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really having high Hope's that this ring will be as great as the hype, it worked good for a month and then it stopped recording because I had to pay $3 a month to have that service, I did pay the $3 a month, they still want me to pay extra $10 a month. I mean that's $13 for a stupid ring that I have to charge every 15 days. Very disappointed and I don't recommend it to anyone.

A Ring Protect Plan is not required to use your Ring products. Our optional Protect Plans allow you to access/download/share past Ring videos. We offer two types of Ring Protect Plans: Basic for $3 a month and Plus for $10 a month. Additionally, while it is true that the batteries can last between six and 12 months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors including weather, the number of events captured etc. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events daily, you can try adjusting your motion settings. An extender does not cut it. A lot of false alerts.
