Not worth the money. Video Quality is below average. Plus you have to pay for a subscription, which isn’t much. Get a real security system.

I bought this model for my parents and the picture quality is very poor compared to the other models. Spend the extra money and go with the higher models.

Everything seems to work fine, except for the fact that sound and image travels around the Internet before reaching your device (computer or mobile), even if they are on the same network. In other words, a lot of technical issues may interfere with the quality of sound and image as you connect to the doorbell. Unfortunately, I had to return the product. I assume that the reason for the the internet loop is to guarantee video capture. I will buy it again if I can bypass the internet when connecting through the local wifi network.

Quality isn't the best, it sometimes picks up on the recording after the person is at the door making it hard to see face . Over all does its job I guess

Works well, mine is hardwired.. if I had remembered that it is the fisheye view, I would have gone for a newer gen..also don't forget the monthly fee.

Besides the lag it was very hard to get this to work.. but now it's ok. Has a lag and sometimes goes offline, or has blackout spots..

The back panel that is used to mount the video camera is of poor quality. The camera was not flush when installed on the back place. Consequently, the camera would not stay securely fastened to the mounting plate. I was concerned that it would be very easy for any one to simply pull the device off the mounting plate. I was very disappointed but, I'm glad I purchased from Best Buy because I was able to get a full refund. I would NOT recommend this particular iteration of the product. Hopefully, they'll make the back plate of better quality - perhaps metal instead of plastic - in future designs of the product.

Supposedly the Ring doorbell allows you to see on your phone who is at your front door, regardless of where you are. In reality, the message I usually get, sometimes even in my own home, is "ring has stopped working". When I click on Ring at home it says "Wi-Fi connection to front door is poor", but the Wi-Fi extender is right next to the front door and was placed there after trying many locations to get the best results to the far end of the house and to the upstairs, each of which is 40 feet or so from the extender.

I love the voice call feature but the video quality especially at night even in well lit area is not good. I can’t even see much at all and wouldn’t help identify any intruders unless they were right in front of lens. Also the WiFi connects and if it has any issues it requires you to unscrew from wall and push button on back to reconnect which is super inconvenient.

I would give it five stars, except there is always a delay when trying to view the camera. Sometimes the delay can be a minute or longer.

This is our first Ring - Wi-Fi Smart Video Doorbell. I must say at times great.. other times so so. Nest time go with top of the line not 99.00 ring.

It's a ok doorbell only real issue I have is that I had to purchase a member after the fact to continue my access to the app

the product itself is great, but after 30 days you have to pay a monthly subscription to access the videos from your own device. This was not adequately advertised.

I purchased this doorbell for the safety and security of my son while I'm away. Everything was great at first. About 2 weeks ago, I began experiencing problems answering motions and activating "Live View". Nothing has changed in the location of the doorbell, the speed of my Wi-Fi, the number of connected devices, the location of my router or my internet provider itself. As suggested by the trouble shooting instructions, I restarted my unit. Still no luck.

Overall the doorbell does work and it is made well also looks very nice. However I tend to have connection issues often or the picture quality drops.

It's ok it's sad the price you pay for the ring door bell then on top of it you have to pay a fee once a month to record any activity. How sad.

I think the door bell camera would be a node product. I didn’t want to have to camera that I was required to pay a monthly recording service, so I returned it.

I love it but why do you have to pay $3.per month for each door ring! I called them but the answer was we don't have any package deal. I 3 of them so I'm returning them..

This product is great when it works, but when it does't, is a different story. The pros is if it doesn't work, they will send you a new one. The cons is it has glitches.
