It’s not good at all on doors that have walls on both sides, the light fades the view during the day. Good when there’re no walls.

It is great to have to detour thrives but video quality is not that great at times. Also has trouble connecting to the network at times

Relatively easy to install but syncing to wi-fi and Chime device was not so easy.

Easy to install. But the lens is foggy. People's faces arw blurry an sound is bad. Im thinking of returning.

Does what it says, although you have to pay/subscribe for the service. It works but has some performance challenges - takes a while to pull up video.

Ended up returning it because of the range of vision. Not nearly as good of picture quality as the regular cameras

I was attempted to purchase the latest model byt the rep gave me the wrong 1. The quality of images was just ok.

Couldn't get it to connect to the router even sitting right next to it. Returned and the manager was the one that returned it and he returned it to the wrong credit card and returned someone else's order. Ended up calling after it still hasn't posted to my account after a week and was told there was nothing they could do, maybe give me gift cards, but that they showed the order had already been returned to my credit card. I was understandably upset but kept my cool trying to explain that I was currently looking at my statement and it had not been returned and my card number did not match the card it said it was returned to once I checked the receipt. I went to the store and was again told that they returned this to my Best Buy credit card, which I do not have. Luckily I kept my receipt to show the online order number and the receipt from the day I returned it. Spent about an hour in the store so they could review tapes and see what happened. Finally gave me a full return but wasted over 2 hours of my time, plus the time I wasted trying to get the doorbell to work. I'll stick to Amazon and find something different for survalence. Make sure that when you return this because you probably will, to verify that it goes back to the correct credit card. They even made me put my credit card into the machine, but still sent it back to a different card.

I have an august doorbell at my office and it saves events for a limited amount of time without paying a monthly fee, so I assumed the ring doorbell did as well. Nope! One would assume that you could at least save footage locally somewhere, but that is my fault for assuming. Also, it my be my local network, but it takes forever for the camera to load on my phone as well.

Picture quality is no as good as advertised definitely room for improvement especially sense the price is up there

It’s a overall good product, but ring itself needs to make some adjustments on how it can be accessed.

Lots of false alerts and video becomes blurry when watching events. Will try a reboot but if that doesn't work I will exchange.

Very functional. However lacks good quality in camera and sensors miss a few detections. Overall good item for the price.

This has been a good addition, I knew that it was limited but it has done the job. Great value and addition

On the product description, and on the box, it says the video is displayed at 720p resolution. Not even close. It's not even at 480i. My internet speed is 107 Mbps, and my router is newish. I even tested it in the same room as my router, and the video quality was the same. It can't connect via the 5G frequency on the router either. I should've just bought the Ring 2. That one really does have hi res video.

Seems all good but a times the Ring will cut out and not provide a good connection. Therefore, the features don't always work.

The doorbell is nice, the delay of the camera, the sensitivity to traffic and the ok picture. Leads me to call it average.

Love it. it comes in handy every day only wish i could change the range cause every time a car comes down my street my doorbell goes off

Great idea but the internet service have to be amazing to be able to not have any disconnections . Speed requirement . Great product though

Takes come getting used to , but has great video. I like the ease of set up but the motion sensor takes some tweaking.
