But my friend told me that he is happy and at my house with <10m distance, it will probably work perfectly. Unfortunately all my doubt came up and the signal with my AC3200 router not good enough. I'd rather return it to bestbuy, but I missed the return window. So, in one word - JUNK. Also, during install, by mistake pushed setup button and communication with phones lost, so had to spend 2 h with their service, the service options not a bad, but the support team not realy professional. Avoid purchasing if your router not really very close to the ring.

Used it on a rental home and it was difficult to install, it's ALWAYS offline and the battery is constantly dead. I will be removing it next time I am at the home and can hopefully return it for extremely poor performance.

It picks up the mailman only sometimes -- but he crosses the cameras path daily. I regret having bought this. It is not worth the high price for such spotty quality.

Switched to Blink, After discussing with my buddies (at bar), was suggested that I might have forgotten to take the clear piece of plastic off lens. Already returned so to late to tell, LOL.

Just wish i came with the wedge that would help with the sunlight issue if yourdoor is facing the east or west. Also the app doesnt store the past events without a paid subscription.
