Slow response time

By the time I get notification that someone is at my door and try to answer the app it is already to late. I returned this product and bought a Nest Doorbell camera and it works way better.

Good but doesn't work the way i want it

Unless you pay (not that expensive) but sometimes it is principle since i'm paying soo much for the doorbell video recorder, and now is just a live video ringer

Great device! Easy install!

Set up was easy as well and it works great. A bit larger than I would want for a doorbell but fits into style of house easily. The video is clear and you can even upgrade to save video in the cloud. Integrates with existing doorbell wiring. Love the app and will find this very useful over time!

The lady gave me a run around about not being close to the modem, not being compatible with my door bell system but not giving me any other alternatives but to return the item for a refund.

Dead after 1.5 months

A month and a half after installing it it won't connect to WiFi and only activates iuf I continually jiggle it. Whats the sense of having a door bell if I have to stand outside and hold it. If I could give it zero starts I would. Very disappointed!

And the doorbell stopped working after a couple of weeks, Google it and it seems to be a very common issue and looks like ring just doesn't care, would never buy again anything from ring very disappointed

Was a waste of time!

Once installed it would only ring my phone once per 10 pushes. I researched and tries adjusting settings. Reset the Ring, restored my phone. Nothing worked. Returned to store and purchased Canary instead and love it.

worthless if you don't pay them monthly

Why can't I not pay money and at least get to view my videos same day? it's completely worthless without a subscription and for that I say do not buy!

A basic plan for $3/month - $30/per year per camera and a Protect plan for an unlimited amount of cameras for $10/month - $100/per year, you can access/download/share past Ring videos. A Ring Protect Plan is not required to use your Ring products. Our optional Protect Plans allow you to access/download/share past Ring videos. Without this service, you'll still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to Live View. Ok camera

I ended up purchasing the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and it’s a lot better. Also the mounting plate on this one requires 4 screws. The Ring Doorbell 2 only requires 2 screws.

Worst on the market
