We have a covered porch and the camera did not work. You could only see right at the front door. The rest of the screen looked like a white blaze. Ring support said it was a problem with covered porches.

Worked roughly 5% of the time. Bought a Wi-Fi extender, better router, nothing improved the function. The majority of the "videos" received were all black. The very few that weren't mostly captured cars driving by.

Do NOT buy anything Ring when you can buy a Eufy doorbell. We love it which I hated Ring from the beginning plus very poor workmanship. Even Eufy's packaging is a thing of beauty!

Purchase less than a month ago and having issues, cold weather causes ring doorbell not to work due to to cold weather, doorbell is hard wired not using battery. Will be returning to Best Buy.

Would not recommend unless you just want a door bell or notifications when it detects motion. You have to pay a monthly fee for camera to work. If I would have known that I would’ve never bought it.

I had problem with this product. It was not compatible with my doorbell with or without the transformer. The company sent a ring installer but he can not fix the issue himself.

Not a fan of the ring or the 3 dollar per month fee. Better off getting a professionally installed doorbell cam with your security system. I can recommend you if you had the same issues as me

The product is the best of the wifi door bells I have tried. The audio and video are near perfect with a fast internet connection. It was very easy to install. I personally do not like the fisheye lens on the camera but unless there is a zoom feature for the future the is the only way to see everything from your phone. I recommend this product.

I have not had great luck with this product. I already had 3 replacements and I'm still having issues with the current upgraded model.

I was SO incredibly excited to buy this doorbell! It would not connect to our WiFi even though we had full connectivity! Returning this $100 paperweight! SO disappointed!

Poor quality. I don’t know if it’s just this particular one I purchased but I’m so dissatisfied. I’ve had another ring door bell and it was TOTALLY different in its quality

Love it ! Before we bought it I was a victim of an assault . Now I feel safer at home and is good to see who is coming at your door then you decide if you want to open or not.

It is slow to react, audio is hit or miss, you have to pay to see recorded events, does not work as smoothly as commercial depicts. A person would be gone before you would get to audio working.

Packaging and concept fantastic. Install video excellent. I hardwired mine and it was easy as watching the video. My major issue was when I was mounting the bracket. The video said that if you were installing on wood, you would not need to use the drill bit and wall mount inserts. Bad mistake. I even predrilled holes and the first screw that broke in half (in the wall) did so because I was doing it with my drill. The 2nd and third breaks were with screwdriver. The minute there was any resistance, the screw head just broke off. The last one was so bent it could not be used. I scrounged for some similar screws and they worked but I need to buy 2 more to secure it but it is on there adequately for now. Thought I set up motion detector but when I approached door, nothing happened. Need to mess with it more. I would recommend this conditionally based on the other reviews I just read.

I purchased and returned, didn't realize the resolution was poor and had to purchase the Ring 2 for clear vision. No point in having video if you cant see the person.

This device has more false positives than actual useful data. It records people entering our house already instead of them coming onto our porch. Totally useless...

I ordered this item in the store had it shipped directly to my house and upon assembling and after hours on the phone was told there was something wrong with the device.

The button was stuck, didn't ring. Orange back button woukdn't function either. Returned it. Best Buy didn't have any others in stock so I went to Lowes & got one. No problems whatsoever.

I was unable to connect to the wired doorbell. It damage the wired doorbell already installed. I currently do not have a working wired doorbell.

More detailed instructions indicated bigger doorbell transformer required as well as wifi extender. Too much extra cost and trouble so returned it unused.
