I am very happy with my RING Video Doorbell. Easy to install once I figured out that I needed to charge it before the install even to a hard-wired old doorbell. Quality of the item and video gives my family great peace of mind. Not to mention you know when your kids are coming and going =D

Setting the zones is a pain. Have to adjust it or it will detect motion of cars going by on the street

Its a great device to add to a smart home. It is a little glitchy though, the live view does not work.

My experience with the Ring is similar to what I learned in reviews. Costco has a package deal where you get the Ring Doorbell and the Chime together for less than BB, but I was able to get a price match and ended up buying from BB. I have installed mine on battery; this setup does not permit live view on demand--that is, the doorbell has to be activated by a ring or movement before the camera becomes operational. Battery life is good; average is about 1 charge every 3-4 months. It varies by how often the camera is triggered. I paid the $30 yearly for cloud storage of the video. Pretty good value, good amount of storage, and you will be able download and store any you want to keep. Discovered the Chime has several ring tones. This was a nice change from the stock doorbell sound. There is sometimes a delay between the ring and the alert on your phone. I have only really used this feature as an experiment and it worked--there just aren't that many people that come to my door. Depending on your installation, tweaking the range of the motion detector can take some time. It is easy to adjust, but getting the distance right takes some experimentation.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It gives us piece of mind day and night. The setup was extremely easy as well.

Excellent in letting us see and communicate to someone at the door from our home office. The App is a bit tricky...

I love the look and works great. One downside is the size and hence the newer model is half the size.

Good value. Easy install and works perfectly for me. You do have to purchase cloud storage at about $30/year to record.

This is a great product to buy. Easy and simple setup. Crystal clear video, and audio. The only con I have is every two weeks I have to take it down to charge it. The ring 2 allows you to take the battery pack out verse taking the entire unit down. But you can’t beat the price, and the sleek design.

Well established product that lives up to the reputation. Pretty easy to install and I like the camera quality. My neighborhood is setting up a Ring Network which looks interesting, but we haven't done it yet. My door frame is very narrow, so make sure you measure yours before purchasing.

Just started using it and so far it works well. Good video quality And sensors seem pretty good too

Love it, very easy to j stall and comes with everything you need. The only complaint is that the motion sensing is very sensitive and picks up every car driving down the street. Slightly annoying even after making all possible adjustments but not too much to take it down.
