It was a snap to install and set up. Within minutes I was receiving motion alerts so I was able to monitor the motion detected. Also being able to see and talk to the person at the door with out going to the door is great for safety. Being able to answer the doorbell from anywhere via my smart phone is a great measure of safety.

Very easy to install. All tools necessary are included in the box and instructions are clear.

I am hard of hearing -this is a big help - I have it synced to my cell phone and iPad

Is good to see who is in front of your door when you are not at home and this camera works good, The only thing with this is that most of the times it shows me a little bit late when someone arrives or sometimes I only see when people is leaving.

Love it took couple weeks messing with settings on sensitivity. Works perfect. Ring customer service is the best . Get the ring chime pro with it , helps with the WiFi plus I like the dogs barking tone when ever someone comes towards door . Have mine in carport by entrance door.

My husband installed it a couple of weeks ago. It is fairly easy to install, even for people who are not that handy! So far we love it. You can see clearly the person who is ringing your door bell and you also get notifications if there is motion detected at your front door.

Easy to install into existing doorbell. Camera is good when people are coming to the door. Picks up a lot of passing cars even though we have the motion set way back from the street. Overall it does what I expected, picture could be a little better

Ring is easy to install, took me 10min, and the notifications are fast, recommend to anyone.

I’m quite happy with the Ring, the clarity of the video and sound is great. It’s proven useful already in the short time I’ve had it. I’m also surprised to see all the activity that occurs when I’m away from home. I didn’t hard wire it, making it easy to take with when I move.

Decided to be cheap and snag the original model of the Ring doorbell. Let me say that I have NO complaints, it's just a bit outdated. How so? You have to take off the entire unit to charge, whereas the newer models allow you to simply replace batteries. This means that you will have moments with the doorbell not being attached while you're charging the unit. Also, the newer models are 1080p quality, while this is 720p. Lastly, newer models have night-vision capabilities. Are these additions game-changers? Perhaps. Is this original model a bad buy? Absolutely not, but if you're going to invest in other Ring items, I would highly recommend at least buying the Ring Doorbell 2 so you can enjoy a wider range of features and utilize the convenience of removable battery packs across all devices.

Great camera for any level of security you have currently. Even though this is only a 720p, it has great video. I like that you can wire it to your existing doorbell wiring so you don’t have to get a rechargeable battery pack. Great entry level camera when it is on sale.
