Bought RING VENETIAN on Black Friday. Great deal! So far so good. Good clarity. Person ringing doorbell can hear you fine and vs. If I didn't have a previous hard wired doorbell, I don't think I would like due to you must remove doorbell recharge battery. Other than that I'm very happy with it.

The install was pretty easy and it's easy to remove when you have to charge it the video is nice quality and you can talk to anyone that comes in contact with the ring doorbell even if they don't press the button if you have motion turned on and best thing is you don't have to be at home

Installation of the Ring was fairly easy and made easier with the inclusion of tools to get the job done. Video camera resolution is excellent and 180 degree view is a nice feature. The phone app is also user friendly, particularly the recorded videos of each visitor.

I love this product everybody loves it I enjoy watching the video playbacks and the easy set up

This ring system works great! It completes my existing security home system and looks nice too.

Great technology. Feel at ease when someone rings the doorbell and you are home alone. Provides a comfort level of safety, when someone is at your door and you are not expecting them.

Hooking up the camera to the house only required a power drill and the bit was included with the camera. The installation was straightforward and understandable. All screws and hardware were included and everything worked as advertised. Quality of the feed and video is certainly not on par with the newest products this company offers but adequate. I needed to charge the Ring doorbell for 3-4 hours prior to installation as it was completely drained apparently from sitting on the shelf so long at the store. So far it is holding its charge as it should. I'm hoping that resetting ring if wifi goes out is not to much of a chore. You need to take unit off wall to do it and that worries me,but only time will tell. Owned for a month (11 of 2019)

Easy installation, recommend hardwiring to not worry about periodically having to remove from base to charge internal battery. Not really difficult to do and well worth it. Clear live video and recordings in cloud accessed instantaneously. Quality product and would definitely recommend it.

The basic Ring doorbell is adequate for most users, easy to install and use.

this is one cool device i own. i put it on my back door where my family use the door to leave and come in. i can monitor their move and delivery man. it run with wifi, so i can talk to them from different side of the world like i am in the house. it can use live view. it alert you for any motion and of course when someone ring. i can control all that from my fingertip using my cell phone in the ring app. in the app, you will have alert from other ring user like fire, theft, any crime in your neighborhood. the only thing i want to whine about is charging. the wireless battery last only about 1 month, it is best to be charge with wire all the time which needs some pro installation. not just stick on the wall. I bought 5 of them for my house, my store and my besties. all love them.

Having a great video doorbell is so worth it. This is a good one, but not perfect. I chose this one for a couple reasons. The primary one being that this product can run off of built-in rechargeable batteries. I had to mount this in a place where there was no existing wiring and I was unable to put any wiring in. I paired this with their chime, works great. Unlike the Pro version that is out now, this tops out at 720p instead of 1080p. Also, you can only view what is happening if motion or a ring is detected. You can't trigger a live view any time you want. That's the biggest drawback I could find. I love the battery option and the life is great. I usually charge it once a month, but it is above 40% still when I get to it. If you don't have doorbell wiring and you don't care about being able to view remotely any time you want, it's a winner. Otherwise, get the Pro for a bit more.
