I needed another a new door bell switch so decided to go big. Fairly easy to set up. I may get some lag time if I am not at home and it alerts me on my phone. After 30 day free trial period you have to pay to record over the cloud.

This product is easy to install as a replacement for an existing doorbell. Initial connection with smart devices and Alexa is simple and quick. The software lags. If someone comes to your door and is out of view of the camera within 5-10 seconds (entering the home, dropping off a flyer, etc), you will get a notification, but they will not appear on the video. Since all video is via relay, it takes a moment to connect. Your device may randomly disconnect from Ring. You can log back in using your username and password. You will receive notifications, but you will not be able to view the camera until you remove the Ring device and rescan the QR code.

Doorbell camera came with everything to mount to existing doorbell wiring. Was easy to install and setup and works great to keep my family and I safe. Allows us to see who's at our day anytime and see when packages are delivered.

The installation instructions and supplied materials were great. The camera uses somewhat of a fish eye lens but given my entrance, that's a good thing. I had two problems after install, firmware not updating and my phone not giving the proper notification of someone at the door. I called the support number, and the problems were fixed right away.

We installed this on the "back" door on the bottom floor of a multi-floor condo - it faces the driveway, so this would be the entrance that deliveries and guests would be arriving at. Installation was easy (we chose the "battery" option, as there wasn't an existing doorbell there)(this can also be installed using the power of many existing doorbells). Set-up and joining the existing WiFi network was also easy - no proprietary "hub" (like Z-Wave or ZigBee) was required. Doorbell ring and audio/video were transmitted without delay to the smartphones or tablets linked to it and had good quality. The Ring also senses motion (adjustable for coverage and range) and will transmit an alert, along with recording a video (subscription to their "cloud" storage service required). Due to the restrictions of the condo association, the Ring could not be installed into the building's siding (facing out as normal doorbell would) and had to be installed into the door frame. While this did not impact operation, it was observed that at night, the infrared beam reflected off the surface of the door, making for a "glare" in that part of the video. The same company also makes a non-doorbell Stick-Up Cam that will also monitor areas (like our front door deck) with the same motion-sensing/audio-video monitoring capabilities found in the Ring that we'll be considering for watching our front door and deck.

Bought this as a gift. My sister loves it. Easy to operate and functions well.

I have one of these for several years and I love it. It works wonderful!! I loved it so much I got one for my daughters house. She could not be more happier. She feels safe and secure, and both her and her husband can answer the phone

This is a very useful product. It is relatively easy to install, however, it can be a bit challenging in older homes, or if you have weak Wi-Fi. There are parts to boost the signal to the older chime, but for weak Wi-Fi, you have to purchase a separate booster. Ring does offer professional assistance to install. Once installed it works very well. You can set schedules so that you don't get notified of every activity during expected arrival/departure times (leaving for work/school, or returning from work/school), unless you want that notice. We have two iPhones with the app installed and it seems that one has a more significant connection lag when the Ring is activated. It takes a few seconds for the image to appear. But then all works well.

I bought 3 rings - hard wired them to current doorbell wiring - EASY to install. Pictures are great on two of my three rings. Audio not great like on commercials, though. YES - BUY "THE RING" - GREAT SAFETY MEASURE FOR FAMILY!

This doorbell is great. Camera quality is great as well and very sensitive when picking up alerts. Only thing I do not like about this product is that it might not pick up all movements within radius depending on the objects movements

We really like it. We tried the wired one first but had to return because it would not work. The wireless one is perfect for us. We are going to get a couple of the Ring cameras for other parts of the house. Easy to install and operate. Great for the price!

I just Purchased this devise yesterday and as soon as I got home went ahead and installed it. I'm so happy with it. it works excellent and now I can see who's at the door from anywhere and talk to them as if I was home. I love it

Show Ring Doorbell to some of my co-workers and they purchase one. Pro - Easy to install. Con - Not switching to battery when there's bad weather and electricity is out. I will be buying the flood camera when funds permitted.

This is the one home product that everyone needs. Super easy to install and does a fantastic job (even with a slow internet connection). Works with iPhone perfectly. Been recommend to all my friends and family that they need this.

It would be ok if it wasn't for all the false alerts and no ability to view at will. Even if you set the range to the minimum 5 feet, it will alert every 10 mins. Fixed only by turning off sensor. Battery half spent after only 1 month.

I'M VERY PLEASE WITH THIS CAMERA. I would recommend this camera to the world.
