This does exactly what it should do, bring the doorbells to the 21st century. Setup is relatively easy. The inclusion of motion alerts does take a little bit to dig into. Only thing I wish it was a little bit smaller. It does stand out on the door.

It is great to be away from home and be able to answer someone at my front door. I like that it has Wi-fi, and uploads the picture of the person at the door to the Cloud. This product was what I have been looking for.

I got this for my home and it's simple to use and worth the money.

I don't consider myself to be a great "handyman" but I was able to install this doorbell myself without any problems. The kit comes with EVERYTHING you will need to replace your old doorbell. RING also does a great job at providing helpful videos that take you step-by-step through the process. Once installed, the unit's mobile app got everything set-up quickly. The only thing I can deduct points off of is with the video quality. I own the Netgear Arlo security cam and that cam captures video wirelessly at 1280x720. And Arlo gives you free cloud storage for your security videos. RING claims 720p recording as well but my videos are just not looking as sharp as the videos from my Arlo cam. And RING also charges ($30 a year) for your videos to remain in the cloud. It's not necessary for you to pay the annual fee and RING does give you 30 days of free cloud video recording. If you do not subscribe to a Cloud Video Subscription Plan within the 30 day period you will still be able to receive calls and motion alerts from your RING Video Doorbell. All videos will be erased and new videos will not be saved.
