Absolutely LOVE my ring doorbell system. Very easy to set up and use. Cold weather will affect battery life even when hardwired into the home.

Bought this for my husband. He exchanged it for the Ring Pro. We love the product and ease of use. It was easy to install. The website and app are user friendly as well.

This is my first outdoor camera/video doorbell I have owned. It was easy to connect to existing doorbell circuit and I agree with what I saw in other reviews with regards to slow response with the alert. When someone rings the doorbell there is about a 3-5 second delay before you are alerted on your phone app. That is not a deal breaker for me considering I would have to pay more than double to get the latest model for quicker response times. To me it isn't worth that for now. Now if you can catch a great sales price, then maybe, but this unit works great for the $$$.

Easy to install. Picture is veryclear when there is no sun glare. Simply need an adjustment to turn camera away from direct sunlight. Sound is great and clear on my iPhone even when I am out of state.

The Ring camera works great but can see camera improvements through the years. You will know when all your services deliver something to your house. You can talk to the delivery person etc. or talk to anyone who is at your door. You may even store videos of activity at your porch if it is criminal in nature to show to law enforcement. The ring records audio and video. Ring offers a convenient and low cost yearly option for keeping and storing these videos. The battery last over a month per charge. The Ring camera can be removed from the mounting bracket to allow owner to charge the device and replace with little effort.

Safety first! Watch everything that happens at your front door. Easy to install, easy to use and watch. My “go-to” gift for friends and family.

This is a neat idea, but does not always work. The first night our phone was going off constantly because any movement (including wind) set it off. Currently having a hard time communicating through it (from our phone)

I've had this doorbell for a little over a month and I love it. The set up was not hard at all, my husband installed it and hardwired it in a few mins. We can see who is at our door and even speak to them. We get a notification when there is motion or movement in the area. The cons for this is 1) a slight delay from when the person is at the door and 2) you have to pay for a subscription of you want to store any footage on your device and I believe it's anywhere from $30.00/month on up. However, it does function as needed when someone is at the door, so I wouldn't need to sign up for the monthly subscription.

This is so easy to install, battery last long,,, good motion, good camera quality ,, you can connected with other devices, you can link it with flood cameras

the only reason it doesnt get a 5 is the WIFI issues ive had. im not sure which side its on the router or doorbell. ring support was very helpful in trying to help but ive still had issues. im going on a month with no issues now so hopefully they have all been worked out.

Easy to set up. Only bad thing is, you have to charge it about once a week for a couple hours...other than that, easy set up..simple.. works great

I am pleased with the product. It is easy to use, and I am surprised by the clarity of the camera.I wish I could afford a camera for my drive way.

It does everything as promised. I got a chime too. I didn't have an existing bell. I installed it myself. I broke my foot two weeks ago and being able to see who is there before I get up has been so awesome.

The best decision I have made stop paying the alarm company .Real time notifications and video , talk to who ever is at your door . Easy to install .

I like this product for easy use and install but the motion zones are not great and could use some work. They recently released new product lines that may work better but they need to focus better attention on existing customers and update the firmware to work as expected.

I bought a Ring Doorbell 2, a Stick Up Cam, and a solar charger at Best Buy today. It was around $450 total. BOTH cameras only work intermittently, despite me and my neighbors walking in and out frequently. If only one of them had malfunctioned, I might be tempted to think I just got a dud. But BOTH of them? And that latency thing you read about in so many of the review is real. My neighbor just walked about 50 feet down a sidewalk right square in the center of the camera, got in her car, and was pulling away before the camera started filming her. Literally all it filmed was the car pulling away. If I didn't recognize the car, I would have had no idea who it was. Another issue is that probably 50% of the time I can't get into Live View on my mobile device, because it simply won't connect with the cameras. Yet my signal strength is "better that most" according to the Device Health, and the internet speed test shows that my download & upload speeds are excellent. This is unbelievable. All of this garbage is being returned....

Easy install and set up. One disadvantage - even though hard wired, you still have to remove and charge the battery when it gets low. App signals you when unit needs charging.

Not only can I see and talk to a visitor remotely through this doorbell via my smart phone when they push the button, I can do this from anywhere. The visitor doesn't need to know if you are in another state. Using Live View, I can look through the camera lens at any time I want just to check if I want. It will also alert me even if someone just walks closely by. These alerts cam be switched off or the sensitivity can be adjusted as needed. There is also a neighborhood watch style part to the app that can be an interesting. A small subscription fee can add handy features. I really like being able to check on the house while I am away. Highly recommended.
