This unit is solid. It can be a little glitchy if you connect, disconnect and then try to connect again right away (for live view). I have had no issues with the recording they are read and easy to manage. I highly recommend hard wiring it if you have a busy door.

Awesome door/camera, easy installation, work great

The build quality is very good. I have the bronze and it looks great. Set up wasn't very difficult. My wife and I have had fun with the alerts. Our only issue is the motion sensor. I have it set to about 5-8 ft. That way we can see someone as they approach the front door. However, it goes off when a large truck passes by on the street. The street it roughly 40-50 ft from the front door. Unfortunately, the sensor doesn't go off when a person comes to the door until they are right at the door. This might be user error. I haven't put too much time into adjusting it. Not a deal breaker. Great addition to our Smart Home.

This is a great purchase. The set up and installation were very easy. The price was fair, less expensive than my local home improvement stores.

I travel for work quite a bit and my family is home without me. We have one on the front door and one in the back so we can monitor and alert on motion at night or when we are gone. 720p camera could be better in my opinion but the black friday price was right!

The ring door bell has been an excellent addition. It responds quickly, has great video quality, and was super easy to hook up. Told 2 of my buddy's about it aND they already bought their own.

This product is great for what we needed. It can be power by wiring for the existing doorbell.The Ring app tells you about the level of the batter amongst other things. It has served well as a both a security camera and a door bell especially with the extended chime that is sold separately.

It's pretty cool. Does what it needs to. Make sure to not have potted plants/tress close by because it will set off the motion detector if it gets windy out. I have mine hard wired and it works well. I will say the initial install of trying to fit it on to the bracket was hard to get it to click in. I believe they could improve the material to a harder plastic or change it to metal especially for how much you spend.

Works as described, really useful if you can't have a peephole. Only wish you can access camera from app even without motion or button is pressed.

It took me just couple of minutes to install the camera. Everything you need is coming in the box; even anchors, screws ... and bit! Easy setting after you install the application. Only issues with visitors approaching the camera and the live video sensitivity since all kind of movement is caught along the street which is more that 50 feet away. The area of video capture does not work very accurately. I set the camera to do what I want: check people ringing the bell and communicate with them in case you want to do so and the device does it pretty good. No problem with battery life after one month.

Someone recently tried to break into my house and everyone recommended that I get the Ring doorbell. It was the absolute best decision I have made. It was easy to setup. But let me tell you before that the best buy employees went absolutely above and beyond. With the curbside service in place there was an issue with the transaction going through and instead of giving up and asking me to just come back some other time, the associates tried everything and we finally got it after almost 2 hours! Still an amazing buy and the best employees I have encountered.

Bought this for my cousin he said it was easy to install and set up. It does what its supposed to but make sure that you have a good signal on your Wi-Fi cause his is not that great. Also in order to save multiple vids you have to purchase a yearly plan for cloud service. Over all the vids are ok.. The motion detection is also hit or miss.. You have to just mess around in the settings in order to get the right angle for the motion to work properly.

We love our ring doorbell and the video quality is outstanding. The only issue is that if you do not have a way to keep it powered, you have to charge it once a month

outstanding product with an excellent price,plan on buying another in the near future. also looking into expanding into floodlight cams for further security.

The Ring Video Doorbell adds security to my home. It gives me peace of mind that I can view my front yard from anywhere as long as I have my cellphone.

This product was worth the money. It was easy to install and the range of vision, and clarity is amazing. I like the ability to see and speak to people at my door even when I'm not home.

Easy to set up. App is pretty user friendly. If you are replacing an existing doorbell, installation could be quite difficult. Uses a totally different mounting hole setup than the standard doorbell plate.

It's handy to have a front door camera in your pocket wherever you go. It's also nice not to use a traditional doorbell (dogs arent a fan). There's not too much to write home about this product as it does what it say's it will do. Would recommend to friends.

I like this camera, it does what I wanted it to do, but even if I am quick to view movement or a ring notification it still takes about 30- 45 seconds to load the video, which is not fast enough if you are trying to answer the door by speaking to the person.

This smart doorbell has been working great! The sensor is great, the app is great, and the camera function is pretty cool. I bought this for my father for Fathers Day because he is very interested in the smart house movement. He has really liked it. The only things are the sensor is almost too powerful and the camera quality is not the best. The motion sensor can pick up cars pulling into our driveway and driving on the street, which is around 200 feet long, which could be a good thing depending on what you are looking for. Also the video feature on the app often comes in a little fuzzy. Overall pretty good product.
