    I love the camera. However, I was not prepared for the extra charge added for the basic recording options. With the amount I paid for the camera I was not ready to pay for yet another subscription for a device I spent over $100 for.

    Disappointed. Works as advertised - but - by the time you get the notice and accompanied video - the ringer has departed. Plus - why does one have to purchase the monthly service. The Video Doorbell should have a facility to work locally within ones own network
