I have never owned a security system/video door bell and had did research on all the options available. I read several reviews and this system had great reviews. It was very easy to install and I love the clear picture and sound and it really makes me feel good that my packages and home are safer.

We bought this on a whim. It has really come in handy for packages that have been delivered while away & watching the kids play outside. It has selectable chimes for all occasions. Very easy to install. The video is great during day or night. If it could only keep the neighborhood cats off my porch, it would be fantastic.

Picked it up on sale with the Echo Dot 3rd generation, what an outstanding value. The doorbell looks excellent and comes with different colored back plates. Installation was done in less than 30 mins. The video quality is excellent and it is comforting to be able to access the video stream on my phone while not home. Definitely recommended on sale.

I really liked how quick and easy the installation was. All hardware and tools are included. Video and audio quality are impressive. I ended up disabling the motion sensor as it was picking up neighbors walking dogs, FedEx truck driving by, etc. I wish there was a way to calibrate the motion detector, but that's the only minor issue I have with it.

This product was very easy to setup from the app. Just follow the video instructions and I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. The video quality is great. I do wish it would record 24/7 though. It works seamlessly with Alexa. Alexa devices alert you when someone is at the door and you can even ask to see the door on your amazon fire devices.

I purchased for my parents. Wanted to be able to see people at door. Father loves the security. Mom doesn’t have to open the door to strangers. Very easy directions to install. Connects to home door bell also. For bigger homes the included chime extension to WiFi is great. That’s a $50 savings if purchased separately. Sensitivity settings really allow you to get only important warnings you want. Working great. Will update in months to follow

Overall really like the capabilities of the doorbell. It provides a quality video image. However, there is a long delay (from several seconds to a few minutes) between the doorbell detecting motion or the doorbell being rung and the app receiving the notification that makes it difficult if not impossible when trying to answer the doorbell remotely through the app on a cell phone.

Purchased one as a gift. Easy instructions made the installation smooth. Packaging and different colored covers and angle mounting plate was handy to have. Obviously with having better video quality the real take away for me was how fast you can answer when someone rings the doorbell. Although it still takes too much time in my opinion it still was somewhat of an improvement from basic Ring doorbell that I purchased one for myself.

We absolutely love Ring! Very easy to install and they give you everything you need to do so. The app is very easy to use and set up. You can share it with anyone you want to. Video quality is unbelievable day or night absolutely excellent! Thinking of buying another. Highly recommended!

It is good. The device looks nice and the software works well. The video quality is good and the sound too. The app has a lot of settings, so you can do according with your needs. The ring doorbell come with some accessories for the best installation. The chime sound is good and works well

Easy to setup, ring takes you step by step. Very easy even for those that aren’t techie. The battery last 2 months between charges. One issue is it’s slow to go live. Which at times can be troubling. It shouldn’t be my internet, it’s usually running above 100. The router is just on the other side of my door so don’t think it’s the router. Haven’t been able to correct by troubleshooting.

Besides scoring a sweet deal at best buy on this item, it's a good product. Installation was a breeze and I'm one of those guys who calls a guy to install something. Picture is perfect. Maybe one day you could change the tune of your doorbell but I'm completely satisfied regardless of that.

Set up was easier than I thought. I didn't need the range extender like I thought but it did help with having the sound of the chime directly in front of my bedroom. It comes with the necessary drill bit for diy installation and I did do my own installation. The only issue I have is that my phone signal, in some areas, is not good enough to establish clear or no lag video. In some cases no video at all. The audio is always there.

Great security device. Got this doorbell camera to show activity in my driveway. Has great motion detection. Great camera. Records short 1 minute videos with sound. Sends them to app on my phone. Subscription costs 30 per year for this service. Great device. I'll be adding another in the near future.

Installation was fairly straight forward. My biggest disappointment is that I can not adjust the motion detection reach of the camera for notification. The street is about 50 feet in front of my house and I get a notification every time a car or walker passes by, about 50 or more times each day. Would be nice just to get a notification when someone is in my yard.

I've been looking for a smart doorbell for months and after reviewing all the choices I chose the Ring Pro. What an excellent choice. Great video and many adjustments to avoid false alarms make this perfect for my use. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to feel safer in their home.

I upgraded from the original ring doorbell to this ring doorbell pro. The video quality is much better at 1080p and motion detection allows to you create custom zones. It is also more responsive and seems to work faster. This version also allows to you to connect to your 5ghz wifi versus your 2.4ghz wifi. Overall and excellent product.

We’ve had our ring doorbell & chime for a couple years now and for the most part it works great. We had someone take out our old doorbell and install this one for us. I liked that it had a couple color options for the doorbell cover to try to match your house. It connects to your WiFi so you can see live video via the app. You have the option to subscribe to Ring service if you want to be able to see video of all alerts. The chime pro plugs into the wall, so you can put it wherever you want. I wish Ring would have more fun and holiday options for doorbell sounds. It would be nice if you could add a song from your phone music library as a doorbell sound too. Sometimes if the WiFi acts up or is reset then it disconnects the doorbell and you have to reconnect it again. One negative is that sometimes when the doorbell is pushed, it takes several minutes for it to reset itself and allow for a second doorbell ring. Overall, we like being able to get motion and doorbell alerts on our phones and having access to live video is nice.

Had the Ring Pro doorbell installed primarily to know when packages were delivered. I didn't know what I was missing! This provides a whole new level of security that I had not been exposed to and I love it! See who is at your door and if you don't know them, ask what they want. Don't open the door unless you want to. Can't beat it!

This is a very good product. It is well made, well packaged, well documented and easy to install. It seemed overly sensitive at first, notifying us of any movement outside the door, but you can configure via the app to customize the area that triggers the notification. Brilliant... We are very satisfied with the product.
