Been wanting to install a Ring doorbell for some time. Finally got it and was very pleased. Very easy to install in place of an existing doorbell. Once installed it was very easy to set up. Added an extra chime upstairs so we could hear better. The accessories are easy to add as well. It is as good as advertised. We love it for knowing when packages are delivered. Added feature is getting alerts about incidents or suspicious people from other Ring owners in the area. Great product.

We love our new Ring doorbell. Everything needed to install the new doorbell was included in the package. They even included a wedge, which I used, to angle the doorbell for a better view if you don't want a straight-on shot. Some older doorbells may have a transformer that is out of spec (16v minimum needed to power the Ring) but Ring includes a little booster pack that will provide the additional voltage needed. Easy to wire into the existing doorbell.

This has been great so far and I'm glad I upgraded to the Pro version. Video is clear and motion detection is very accurate. The pro version allows me to exclude the street in front so cars driving by are not captured. It's great being able to see what's going on at my doorstep and see who is ringing before I can answer the door. It's also great to be able to talk to the person through the Ring doorbell speaker when I'm not home. Highly recommend getting a Ring doorbell.

Fantastic camera and war easy to set up in like 45 minutes. Love all the notifications. And camera work great at night...

Very easy to install, with straight-forward instructions. The video quality is very good. I recommend pairing it with an outdoor camera too, this way your vision of events in front of your house is entirely covered. This is easy to use on a computer, tablet, or phone, whether you are home or not! Works great with a digital assistant that has a screen on it as well, as you can ask your assistant to see who is at the front door. This is a must, in these days of porch pirates and thievery!

I bought this for my mom's condo for a Christmas present. I set it up for her very easily. The picture is good. She had some trouble understanding the app on her phone, but I spent some time with her to help her with it. Now she gets along with it pretty easily. I thought it was very user friendly to use. I can log on to her account on my computer at home to see what is going on. I like the door bell camera a lot and we will probably get an additional camera for the garage.

Bought this on Black Friday and really just wanted to see what it was like. I was not expecting much but have been throughly impressed with the camera and functionality. Installation was an absolute breeze and the setup was easy. I like the form factor of the elite versus the basic ring doorbell. It’s a lot more sleek looking as well. This doorbell is something I didn’t think I needed but now I cannot imagine not having it. We have since purchased the Ring Security system as well.

is an excellent product. have one at my home. works amazing. bought for my mom and dad for Christmas. ended up returning bc my mom's doorbell transformer did not work. the product is excellent and wish could have used. BB did amazing. Bc Christmas gift was outside of return window but BB let me exchange, no issues. excellent costumer service. got the batrtery one and works great. would have kept if my dad's db wasn't broke.

Installation was fast and easy. The system integrated right into the existing doorbell on the house. Just connect two wires in the doorbell and then connect two wires that connect to the doorbell button outside. I used both of the angled mounting plates to move the view of the camera both up and out towards the sidewalk as my doorbell button is not pointed straight ahead. the video view is great and you can use your phone to zoom in on more distant objects during live view.

It's a great system. The video is in HD, and at night the camera is pretty clear. It was easy to install.

I got this Ring doorbell for my house because I wanted the security and because I wanted something that was hard wired to utilize the existing doorbell. I like the slim design because it fits well on the slim doorframe that I have. The Chime Pro is good to put on a second floor or somewhere where you won't be able to hear your doorbell chime as easily. Recommended for the security and the ease of installation.

Love the ring system. We bought this because we want to eventually switch everything to ring. We have Nest currently and it is ok but the delay on notifications is horrible. I can come home, unlock my door, and be sitting next to my wife before I get notified that someone is at my door. With the ring I don't even unlock my front door before the alert goes off for someone at the door. I love the system so far. Easy to install.

This was a Black Friday purchase. I am very pleased with the price and with the quality of the video and audio. It wasn't too difficult to install. VERY glad that the Chime Pro was included. Without the Chime Pro I would probably not have been able to use the Ring door bell because my WIFI was too far from the door bell and the Chime Pro helps extend the WIFI. I haven't had problems and I needed to keep an eye on what is going on at home, so I'm pleased.

I bought this to replace another video doorbell after they upgraded their app and their service went to ...... I researched all the video doorbells and decided to give the Ring Pro and chime a chance. Installation and setup of the app and unit was easy and it was working in 15 minutes. Just plug the chime in and setup took a couple of minutes. The pushbutton unit supports 5GHZ WIFI but the chime only supports 2,4GHZ WIFI, go figure, doesn't make sense to me? But it does function correctly as a unit. The app is easy to use, intuitive and will setup and maintain all your Ring devices for you. It has 3 modes for disarmed, home and away. You can even snooze the unit when a lot of people are going in and out of your home. Motion sensing works very well and can be fine tuned tor sensing motion only in certain areas in its view. Videos of motion are crisp and clear and arrive fast. Live view is available too. Speaker and microphone are clear. There is a slider for watching captured video to get right to where you want to see and freeze it. You can also see posts by neighbors of suspicious activities. The chime has many different ring tones to suit your mood and can be moved throughout the house so you can hear the ring. Chimes on the phone work well too. The unit comes with an angled mounting plate so it worked well since my existing wiring is 90 Deg from my door. You can also ring existing mechanical chimes. Best Buy had the system on sale so I got a great product at a great price.

This pro version is packed with all parts needed to replace an old doorbell to this modern video Doorbell, even the door bell was located on a wedged cider side wall. It makes old front door looks modern. It allows you see who ever is approaching or has approached your front door using cell phone or Amazon Show. It allows you to answer the door when it rings. Your money will work well for this smart device. I thought this is one of my best year end purchases.

I am not sure I need all this, so maybe not the perfect person to review this. I like it very much, it does everything it said it would, I am just not able to get out of it everything it is capable of doing, so more just a pretty looking doorbell that will hopefully dissuade people from stealing my packages if they see I am recording them. It was very easy to install, they did a fabulous job with walking you through the steps and I was able to get it for a reasonable price. If you use it more than I do, I think you would love it!

Motivating reason to buy the ring was that it had a camera and could alert you when someone was at the door. So perfect gift and added security system for my parents and my peace of mind. I like how it also gives you the capability to view it on your phone or even on the echo show which I got. Install was easy, price was reasonable, quality so far is good. Quality of item was satisfactory, I don’t know how it compares to the google nest. It doesn’t seem flimsy, overall, i do recommend the item for personal and for a gift.

Super easy set up following the installation video provided by the company. Amazing video and sound quality and added bonus is that the customer support is amazing. Only thing is that I wish it came with more than one corner wedge. The aftermarket corner wedges doesn't fit as flush as the OEM part. Luckily, I had a family member who didn't need theirs so I was about to use two corner wedges to properly angle the camera.
