This camera is replacing a Skybell doorbell camera that was installed by my security company that I just wasn't happy with. The Ring is much much faster to load than the Skybell was, even on the same network. The Skybell also had problems connecting, especially when there was someone at the door. By the time it would load (if it would even load) the person had already left. I will now only buy ring products thanks to this and the Floodlight camera that I also have. Both integrate nicely and connect quickly. There isn't a whole lot to say, Ring is definitely the leader in these types of cameras and I can definitely see why. I will be buying a few more Ring products to use at my business to replace another useless camera (Amcrest)

It has good video quality but the two way sounds is not so great. I think that the ring 2 has a better sound quality but not video like the ring pro.

The Ring Doorbell Pro provides some added security around the house in this day and age. Installation and set up were fairly easy. Now I have the peace of mind that having the Ring Doorbell Pro provides.

I purchased this doorbell based on the previews that it received from various tech sites, prior to its release. It looked promising and met my initial expectations to go ahead and pre-order one. I liked that the size of the Ring Pro is much slimmer than the original iteration and more suitable for my door frame. Another improvement is 1080p vs the original 720p resolution. The included face plates were another bonus. The first one I received did not initialize properly even after re-watching the video and ensuring my connections were correct. Tech support was adequate but it did not solve the WiFi issue. I ended up exchanging it for another unit and installation/setup went smoothly. The camera resolution looks very good and clear. As other reviewers have mentioned, it would have been nice to have control over brightness and contrast settings. If you have an over hang above your porch, faces will appear darker because of daylight behind the person. Notifications are good, although they can be a bit excessive. Ensure you set up your motion zones to not pickup road traffic (unless you want constant motion notifications.) The doorbell itself requires a firm press on the button in order for the chime to activate. I've answered the motion even before a ring can be heard. There also seems to be a slight lag (3-5 seconds) for the chime to ring once the button is depressed. For product improvements, I would suggest a spacer to allow the doorbell to stick out further from the existing placement to allow a flush mount with my brick exterior. As it stands now, there's a brick wall that is in view because it's recessed. I plan on fabricating a wooden mount to extend the base to get a greater field of view. Overall, it's a decent product that needs improvement. I don't think it's worth the $250 price tag.

Installation instructions and customer service were excellent with installation. Already has caught an unwanted visitor with motion detection. I am so pleased that I bought one for my back door and recommended it to my neighbor.

Love the ring pro camera. I was going to bit the regular camera but a best buy agent convinced me to go with the pro. Easy to set up only con is sometimes the Wi-Fi easily disconnects eventhough my other devices dont.

Absolutely loving this purchase. Easy to use and the convenience of seeing motion at your door or who is standing at your door is great. You can also speak to the person at the door. Great product in all weather.

It goes off with lights at night - a false positive. I like that it starts recording right away and advises with motion only for the package delivery people who just dump off and don't knock.

Good video doorbell. Can see when someone approaches the house. I like that you can set the range of the video so that it doesn't ring every time a car drives down the street.

works great easy installation and integration with alexa. Gradually updating all my cameras to ring products because i find them extremely reliable and quality video.

It’s great when you can’t get to the door quick enough.

Love being able to speak to a guest or delivery person, especially when I am away or not available. Love the added security of knowing who was there at what time while we are away or traveling. Worth the money!

The door bell was easy to install. The only caveat was I needed to purchase a new door bell transformer. This might be an issue for consumers who do not know where the transformer is located?

I didn't have high hopes for this, but we've been pleasantly surprised. The camera is way better than I thought or would be. All the settings work great. The only downside is the monthly fee.

Installation for the Ring Doorbell Pro is not complicated. It is very sensitive to pick up a motion of anything. But I don't have any false alarms on my device. Sound recording is very good.

I love my Ring. I only wish I'd bought it sooner. Easy install and great features. Just wish it had been more obvious that it costs $30/year to use all the features. I'm going to pay it, but it was a bit of a surprise.
