The Ring set up was easy to install and has since worked flawlessly. I enjoy the various sound tones. I had installed 2 cameras in the back and linked them to the system. The online neighborhood watch app is very helpful. I do wish he camera had a wider angle since my wirining is on the side of my door as opposed to on the door facing outwards.

So we had been having some weird and disconcerting activity in the front of our house, we are the last house on a dead end street with only one house next to us, no one across from us but a small hill with a fence and at the time the media was hammering the "Porch Pirate" story with things being stolen from porches. We had some landscaping pieces stolen and we do receive a lot of packages delivered on any given week. I ordered this on line for next day pick up. Before going in I read some negative reviews on BestBuy.com, and suddenly I was wondering if I had made a bad impulsive purchase. None of the "complaints" proved to be true! Installation was incredibly easy. The video and audio are impressive in all levels of lighting. The software interface is easy and efficient to navigate and use. I went with the PRO version to not have to worry about recharging. I am veery pleased with my purchase!

Doorbell works great and was easy to set up The video quality and intercom work excellent The only downside is occasionally when someone presses the doorbell it takes approx. 20 seconds for the chime to happen inside our house. Also, the video recording service is$3 a month, while this isn’t much I was not aware of it at time of purchase

This Ring Pro video doorbell was easy to install. It connects to the wires of my old doorbell. The video is very clear and you can adjust the motion distance setting that turns on thr doorbell.

We bought this after trying and returning a Simplisafe Doorbell Pro. The Ring Doorbell Pro is MUCH faster in alerting motion & doorbell ring events. It's much more consistent in overall performance - triggered by motion and doorbell, WIFI connectivity, picture quality, etc. We've had occasional inconsistency with audio - garbled audio, but generally it's good. The phone app appears to be much more mature as well. Tech support was very helpful during installation and in setup of settings. So far, we are very pleased with this product.

The Ring Doorbell Pro is a wonderful security device. The video is clear and the app is easy to operate. On a scale of 1 to 10, the installation was about 6. This is because it is a hard-wired device. While the doorbell comes with an install kit, I would recommend utilizing one of several on-line videos to help with the installation process. It will make your install easier.

I bought this after researching several different versions and brands. Installation was not easy, especially getting it to work properly with my current installed electronic chime. I spent 4 hours on the phone with Ring techs and still we couldn't figure out the problem why it would not trigger my chime. I returned the first doorbell thinking it was possibly defective, but I also ordered a new more powerful transformer to install as well. Ring tech support went me a free wireless chime and a work around wire to bypass my electronic chime free of charge (but not what I wanted to do initially). When I received the new transformer and installed it and the new Ring Doorbell, I was then able to get the electronic chime to play (most of) the tune (but it still cuts off at 10 seconds of playing - the max time allowable by the ring doorbell settings). In all I am satisfied with the purchase but wish it would work properly with the existing chime.

It does it job. I would have rated this 5 stars however, there's a bit of lag. I would say, maybe 2 to 3 secs lag. Pro: Great quality and looks durable. Great at detecting motions and the best part, you can set the sensitivity of it. Con: slow reaction. at time, you'll have to turn off notification off and on for it to work again.

Great video quality , although plastic lens covering camera isn’t UV protected , it started yellowing and cracking I had to remove it

This is easy to install and set up. Took me all of 20 minutes from installation to setting up. The Ring doorbell Pro is for hardwire doorbells ONLY but if you want the option of a battery or hardwired get the regular Ring doorbell. Some reviewers reported issues with connection and I did too at first. On the box it says you can connect to wifi networks with 2.4 or 5GHz. When I set it up using the 5GHz I had no video but when I connected with the 2.4GHz I had no problems. Everything is included to install the doorbell even the drill bit. You just need a drill if you are going to be installing it in stucco. Highly recommend as a stand alone or compliment your home or business security system.

The Ring doorbell Pro works beautifully. It was easy to install (although I needed a separate power adapter as I didn't have an existing doorbell system to work with). Haven't had any issues with it (solid wifi and notifications come quickly). It's nice to have some peace of mind after reading/hearing about a lot of package thefts in the surrounding neighborhoods.

I order many packages and I wanted some kind of security knowing who was at my door before I opened it. The camera was fairly easy to install and set up. This does connect to your wifi. You do have to pay to maintain your video footage which is about 40 or 50 bucks a year. If the camera detects any movement it will record for about 2 mins. The only downfall is you can view the recording until it's complete. So if you get a notification and you open it right away you must wait until the recording is complete to view it. If you want any other cameras from ring you can connect them all through the app. Overall very pleased

This Ring Doorbell is quite amazing. It was easy to install over my current doorbell system and it's integrated to accommodate the Amazon Echo. The picture quality is great during the day and night and the overall finish of the product looks very quality and durable. There are no audio hiccups that I've experienced and the app is very user friendly and easy to navigate around. You're able to adjust the view range for alerts which is very convenient. It's a great product that I would highly recommend.

Very happy with the product so far. From all the reviews, I was initally skeptical. But after almost 2 months, there isn't much to complain about. It does what it says it does at a reasonable price and gives you what you want; Peace of mind. i will admit there are delays approx 5-15 seconds depending on the day but good enough Considering we are using wi-fi. If you temper your expectations and realize that this is Not a full blown security system that costs at least 1-2K to install, you'll love this product. I think the best feature of this product is the live view. You can click DL your app and view live anytime to see what's going on in front of your house just for the heck of it if you're passing time or just plain paranoid about your security. Videos are approx 40 seconds long when they record/detect a motion (which you can set a range manually) and a yearly subscription fee is 30 bucks to keep recordings of your video logs.

Great camera and system. Puts my mind at ease to have this at home. Super easy and straightforward installation. Love that it comes with multiple plates so we can swap out if desired. 10/10.
