This ring doorbell is ok it’s a little delayed on letting us know when someone is at door

Works really well. Easy to set up, and let's me know when anything is going on in front of the house.

Often new tech doesn't live up to the hype, but the Ring doorbell works just as promised. It has an amazingly clear image both during the day and night and video quality is smooth and responsive. Conversations "through the doorbell" have been effective for both sides and couldn't be happier! Although, be warned that you will need to be prepared to do a hardware reset when you change Wi-fi passwords etc., so keep the included screwdriver handy and be sure you don't strip the screw.

Installed very quickly ( under half hour) using existing door bell.connected to home wifi in a jiffy and all set to go....

The doorbell is what we expected. It does alert when a moth flies into view in the middle of the night. :)

Ring camera allows me to know who is at my home when I’m not there. HD picture!

While working I can see who is at my door. I can even talk to my guests which is great.

Great product and simple to install. I however would not reccomend anything less than the PRO edition!!! It works as advertised.

Great system. Wish they always had these! It's a great way to avoid answering the door when Jehovah Witnesses come around.

It's a great camera both day and night but it's all completely dependent on a solid internet connection.

I mean technically it’s better...but I can’t tell the difference. The only advantages of having the pro in my opinion is the slim design and interchangeable face plates. It looks/fits better mounted next to my door than the other models. If you don’t have a problem with the other bulky ring doorbell 2, I’d say save a little money and get that one. These things are great though. Works flawlessly as long as you have a strong WiFi signal.

I bought the Ring Video Doorbell Pro for my wife for Christmas. She and I just love it! Easy to install and each of us now feel like we always know what is happening at the front of our home! It is amazing how it alerts to package deliveries, even when we are home. We can go retrieve them immediately. Also, when away we can monitor our home. How did we live without it?

Here's my experience with Ring. The video is so pixelated; people look like Lego figures. Always such a delay it is not possible to converse with a person. That is if they hold the button down long enough to make it ring. Never have any of the 3 Ring products I have tried over two years produced usable audio or video. Immediately after purchasing Ring Video Doorbell I had problems, but Ring tech support drug me along until it was too late for a refund. Since then I have wasted an embarrassing amount of time, and money, trying to get something useful for my money. I have done everything Ring claimed would fix issues; moved my 2.4/5Ghz router, with 50 Meg speeds, to within 10 feet of the doorbell, upgraded to latest Ring devices, bought the Chime Pro, replaced transformers three times, replaced existing home doorbell twice, even paid an electrician to replace wiring from transformer to the Ring. In the end, after 2 years, Ring recently issued a refund. So, there is that.
