It went black &white one night & then the color returned. But, ever since the video day & night has been grainy.

This has been one of the best purchases I have brought home in a long time. It is doing everything I have expected and some.

Installation was a breeze and in the beginning, worked as advertised. But approximately 9 months afterwards, I began encountering video freezing issues. Whenever the doorbell was pressed, the recording would freeze or I could not answer the doorbell because I couldn't get a video feed. Just the spinning circle. And just to be clear, I did change the transformer in my garage. I read online, that some people were able to get around the freezing issue by turning off the "ring my home doorbell" setting but now that no longer works either. I'm also noticing that when someone just walks in front of the doorbell, the recording also freezes. I've called Support for assistance but did not get to a resolution after spending quite a bit of time on the phone. I never called back because I expected the next agent to make me do the same steps to no avail. Now I'm outside the warranty period and may just move to the Nest Hello since I already have Nestcams in my home.

Great product if you have an existing hardwired doorbell. Have recommended this product to friends and family.
