Perfect. One day, Ring lost connection to WiFi. Tried reconnecting to no avail. Emailed customer support and received methods to remedy. Followed all suggestions and even uninstalled and reinstalled the doorbell to try to start from scratch. Nothing has worked. Spent $50 on a WiFi extender to see if that would fix. This has been going on for 9 months now and emails have ceased. No responses to my past two emails which asked for a replacement. Last email to them was prompted by an auto charge for the service plan. Now I have to call them and explain all of this all over again.

But it was too wide where my current doorbell is at. i would have to pay a contractor to come and install it. Again I bought the product, but because it didn't fit, I couldn't give it a better review than a average.

If someone rings the bell I hear it in the house and received it on my phone. However, if someone just walks up to the front door, I am not receiving a notification. At this point I'm not able to recommend this product.
