    Door bell does not ring 100 % of the time. Video and motion video does not work. Called CS who said my upload speed, not down load speed, requires high premium internet over 2.0 Mbps. I have YI Cams with the same function that work excellent. Very disappointed. If improved it would be an awesome product.

    had it since Xmas. works fine-decent pic,but your not told you would need a subscription to view anything that happens if your not home. no storage at all. boo! had I known that, I would have passed. sorry ring but your too expensive.

      I am sorry to hear about this less than excellent Ring experience. We do, however, notify our customers about the cloud plan on our website (https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans), in your Ring app during the first free 30-day trial of our cloud plan, as well as in your email about this service. I apologize for any miscommunication but we will work on providing even more transparency to our customers as we can in the future. Additionally, our optional Protect Plans allow you to access/download/share past Ring videos. Without this service, you'll still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to Live View.
