    Wish I would have read all reviews about the Ring. How did I miss the part about it staying in night mode if it's installed in an area where there's a cover or if the sun isn't shining directly on it throughout the day. I'm highly upset that I paid all this money to simply watch it in black & white.

      I am sorry to hear this. Try holding the black button on the right side under the cover for 20 seconds to reset the device first.     These are awesome....when working :( I can't get mine to connect to a 5GHZ modem...which i have. It only runs off a 2.4 GHZ. That should be clearly marked in the description online and on the box. I need to get a hold of the customer service dept and see if they can help. Not happy so far though :(

    Ring doorbell has short life span

    Ring Doorbells are great when they are working, but they don't last long. Very short useful life. Luck if you get 2 years out of them before they have technical, physical issues. It must be outdoor humidity and temp related.

    Huge delay in time to respond to doorbell

    I get a notification that someone is at the door, but when I open the app I cannot respond to the person ringing the bell because the ring doorbell doesn't show anyone there. I really wish that I can return it, but I had it hardwired and cannot do that myself.

    This is a cool idea, but takes a long time for the video to load on our iPhones and refrigerator. So when we get a motion alert, by the time it uploads the video, there’s no point.

    I got the Ring Doorbell Pro and Chime Pro for Christmas '17. It is easy enough to install but wouldn't stay connected to WIFI that was less than 15 feet away. NIGHT VISION shows only a black and white picture, At night it's ONLY Black with no distinguishable images and any white which is only the street light in neighbor's front yard or their porch lights, no recognizable images at any distance... ie from front door to street... with night vision. The unit also does not detect motions on a regular basis even in the day time and NEVER sees my husband's vehicle in night vision - EVER! I have bought another, less expensive camera to do night vision (in color and half a block down) and it DOES NOT DROP CONNECTION TO Wifi or miss any movement!

    It only works if people are still and don't move. Otherwise the picture is pixelated and people unrecognizable. Even added a wifi booster and still have problems. Unhappy that I spent $200 and can't send it back. 15 days is not long enough to install and test out the product

    It was great when it worked but it continually lost connection and we had to go through the process of taking off the doorbell to reset. Ring blamed our WiFi but we had the same problems after getting a WiFi booster and confirming a strong signal.

    I have experienced one problem after another since installing my ring pro. I have a stick up camera that I'm very pleased with but the doorbell pro has been a nightmare. I have had it for about 6 weeks and experienced many issues. It takes forever to get through to support also.
