I was very impressed with the installation guide. It really works. Once installed, I was even more impressed with the operation. The RingPro is installed by our front door. In addition to picking up anyone walking up to the door, the proximity sensor provides an alert when a car pulls into our driveway. This was an unexpected benefit. One other point, the device comes with a very small module, to be mounted in our inside bell. I was thinking I would need to buy a new chime but this module enabled us to keep what we have, avoiding the need to remove it and patch the wall.. This is a good product and I have no complaints or issues. A great addition would be to integrate RingPro to our Amazon Echo. That would be really cool.

As a fan of many home automation products I was looking forward to the Ring Pro since it has upgraded video quality and provides remote notifications of the doorbell. Unfortunately this product does not work for any video for me despite moderate strength of my wifi signal. I even have a Nest Cam set up right inside the door and do not have issues with that. I'll try a wifi extender to see if that resolves the issue but it is disappointing that this product doesn't fully work out of the box.

The Ring Pro has made a difference for my house. It is wonderful to be able to get a Live view of the front of your house with just a few clicks in the app. As others have stated, if you have a bad internet connection, this is not for you. The camera view is very clear, no delays between the doorbell ringing, and the notification on the app. The motion detection is great too with it sending a notification once motion is sensed in the zones you have specified. My plan in the neat future is to add 2 stick up cams to my set up. I love the fact that these are wireless and seamless to set up. It is a product I will definitely recommend to anyone!

This device had a rocky launch, but I use a product for a while to make sure it improves before I return it to see the true value of it. And This doorbell was right for the price and then some. It triggers my chime in the house, the video is a lot better to its predecessor 'Ring Video Doorbell', and after the great customer support I received, and the firmware updates were made to the device, I was delighted when the Pro started living up to its namesake. It is a great product that lets me see who is at my door, and it allows me to peek whenever I want.

It was easy to install and setup. The bronze interchangeable face plate complimented my brick exterior and front door. After a couple days I had some issues with obtaining a video feed from the app (would display black screen). I contacted customer service and they recommended that I open some ports on my router (https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394). It has been working great since then. One issue (more so a nuisance) is that it is sensitive to lightning and car headlights. Would be nice if there was a way to adjust sensitivity to light.

Love ring doorbell pro. Camera is amazing, even night vision. Customer service very patient with set up help. We will be buying cameras with lights.

I bought the most expensive version and had no issues installing the ring video and connecting to my Wifi. I was so happy and excited with the quality of the video and coverage. Then I lost connectivity. I performed all diagnostics - all in good to excellent range. I attempted to reconnect for hours with no luck. I purchased the ring chime with wifi extender (another $50) and still no luck. I am so disappointed.

This is a good addition to the home security system and good combination to doorbell and security camera at the door.

After being let down by August, this Product came to the rescue! Great quality video, quick response, and a brilliantly simple setup. Well done Ring!

The product is a bit expensive, great quality. For a doorbell camera, the picture quality is amazing. It is also easy to setup.

Although every product that is available to "buy now" should be working great, it is to be expected that some will have some hiccups. Really a huge fan of the Ring and always had a smooth process with all the other products. This first wave of 1080p products and motion detection zone mapping was expected to have some initial problems. I'd say wait a few weeks to purchase this so all of the software bugs get straightened out. When it does, this will be replacing their first Video Doorbell as the best on the market. Might as well give it a 5 star now!

I have been wanting to buy this product for quite a while. A friend noticed it was on sale at Best Buy with $50 off. Normally $250 on sale for $200. The set up an installation was very easy with easy to understand step-by-step directions provided in the box. I read some of the reviews about the delay. However the delay to me is so short that it does not interfere with the product itself. I like this product so far, and will be looking to possibly purchase other ring products in the future. I would and will recommend this product !!

I have had my Ring Pro for about 4 months now and as with anything new there were a few hiccups. I emailed the company and received responses back promptly. I also received updates to the Ring program which alleviated my problems. The picture and sound are Kristal clear. I had it professionally installed and the initially programed. They even informed me that there would be updates, which there were,, just like when you buy a new computer, so, I was prepared. For the price it has been a great investment.

I purchased this item because I thought it would be great for added security. The camera looks great and set up was easy, but immediately I had issues with my mechanical chime. Once I installed the Ring Pro my chime stopped working. I push the doorbell button and no chime noise. Customer service started out great and after a few back and forth emails it just got worse. They stopped returning my emails and now when I call I am on hold for at least 30 min and another 30-45 min with an agent trying to figure out what is going on. They had me replace my transformer. The CS rep said if it doesn’t work I can just return it. Way to make me go out of my way. By the way it didn’t work. I called back and was on the phone for an hour when the rep asked if he could call me back due to the long wait. I said fine, he did not call back. Such a terrible experience. I will be returning my Ring Pro for another brand and hopefully will have better success. Yes, I know I can buy a chime from ring but why should I have to shell out another $30-$40.

Excellent and works perfectly. One of the best product out there

Purchased the Ring Doorbell camera after reviewing several options. When I saw online that Ring now has a program for unlimited cameras for one low price ($10 a month or $100 a year) I decided this was the best option. Install was easy, so was setup. Now I can see if someone leaves me a package at the front door... or if someone else was to take it! I really like how it rings my phone with the motion detector before someone even has a chance to ring the doorbell.

The first one didnt power on at all. I checked and had 19 volts going to the unit. Called tech support and had to take pictures of my meter reading 19volts going to the unit to show the tech i knew what i was doing. He decided it was defective and i should exchange it. So i did. Hooked up the second and it worked. I was ecstatic. The video surpassed my expectations. Few hours later, the unit got really hot and shut down. Had to get the screwdriver out of the box in the closet and take off the cover to reset it. The unit would not reset while it was hot. Took it off and let it cool down. Hooked it back up and it worked, few hours later it overheated and shut down again. At this point it was a lot of stress and aggravation. Took it back to bb the second time and exhanged it again. I didnt want to return it because i liked it so much when it worked. Took home the third one and its finally working like its supposed to. I absolutely love it. If you purchase, you will be rolling the dice. If it works, you'll love it. Id recommend getting the service plan if you get one that works. I will be returning to bb to purchase the service plan because i worry about the longevity of the product.

Impress your friends and neighbors with this nifty gadget, it is absolutely amazing to be able to check on the door anywhere you are from your smartphone! We really do live in amazing times people! Grab the Ring Pro, you won't be making a mistake but an investment in your home security and overall increased security in your neighborhood.

I am a Elite Plus Member and have used previous model, Doorbell also. Like other reviews, I exactly have had same problems. However, after firmware version 1.0.40 updated, almost every problems were solved. Definitely Video Doorbell Pro model is better than previous model, Video Doorbell. To achieve 5 stars, there are two more problems that I would like to raise hand & share. Problem #1 : No 5GHz Wifi connection option available Despite of Ring Community Support Level 2's careful review. (Level 2's diagnose was to return and get new unit but still not working) Problem #2 : Pro model's Camera Angle Issue compare to Video Doorbell (Left to Right Camera Angle is good but Top & Bottom camera angle is shrink, lost little bit of bottom portion of visibility) Anyone has same problems?

Bought the ring pro and took me 3 phone calls to get it setup turns out I received a bad ring pro power kit but they sent me a replacement and it worked. FYI if you bought the ring pro no diode is needed if you have a digital doorbell. Things I learned certain chime transformers aren't compatible. Got it working and love the video quality. Did have to move router close to get better video quality.
