The Ring Pro doorbell was very easy to install. The hardest part was drilling holes in the brick for the anchors. It has already paid for itself by alerting me to an roofer who decided to climb on to my house without even ringing the doorbell to perform a “free inspection” after a hailstorm had hit the area. I was at work but was able to tell him to leave the property using the intercom feature. Also have the video from the incident saved in the cloud. Only reason I'm not giving a five star review is the motion detection is triggered when the porch lights, which are on a timer, turn off. There is a motion detection schedule where it can be disabled during certain times but the light timer is randomized and I do not want to disable motion detection for such a long period.

im just gonna get to the steak and potatoes of this review of the ring doorbell it is an amazing piece of tech. Look at it like this if you're on a vacation that's outta state or just not at home and somebody rings your doorbell then you've missed out on what was going on. This is the first line of your home defense cause it rings right to your phone with motion alerts and no matter where you're at you can still answer your doorbell and see who it is that is there on your door step and it has a two way intercom system so they can speak to you and you can speak to them and still give that impression that you're at home. The set-up is easy and it doesn't take rocket science to set-up your ring doorbell. The ring doorbell will pay for itself as soon an installation is completed. And if you've been thinking about buy one stop thinking about it and buy it.

easy set up clear directions to a beginner. Im in love with all Ring products and the coolest thing there after the sale if you have a question very friendly staff to help you through. the Ring doorbell has changed my life as far as feeling more secure.

I like the concept. I like the ease of setup/use and the quality of video this takes. I don't like the delay from when motion triggers the recording which takes around 10 seconds to start.

Works well, especially when away from home. The only issues was that the masonry drill bit supplied in the kit was not of good quality, so I had to buy a better from Home Depot; and they don't tell you that the Ring doorbell cannot support 2 wired chimes (upstairs and downstairs). I had to disconnect one, but they did send me a chime pro for my basement for the inconvenience.

It gives me comfort knowing that anyone stepping into my motion sensing area will trigger a notification immediately to my cell phone. Only problem I have is that signal is not strong since my wireless modem is located on the 3rd floor and The Ring is on the 2nd floor. I’ll eventually purchase a signal repeater to get a stronger signal.

I like the motion alerts and clear picture. It also syncs with Alexa Show!

The Ring Doorbell pro looks and performs MUCH better than the original Ring Doorbell. There are a few cons with the Pro. - There is no Battery anymore like the original Ring Doorbell, which means the Camera isn't any good when someone cuts your power (if you have your wifi router and modem on a bettery backup for security purposes). - The Doorbell Pro needs a certain amount of power that is above their minimum requirements or else the doorbell won't perform very well. This means that if you have an older doorbell power supply then you might need to upgrade it for the Ring Pro to work correctly. This is normally a $10 part which isn't a big deal anyways. All in all the Ring Doorbell Pro looks great and works great! The Ring Cloud service is lightning fast too!!

This is the second Ring Doorbell Pro I've added to my system. Installation was a breeze and the smaller size of this unit meant I didn't have to perform any surgery on my door frame. All tools are included with the kit which helped with the installation. Just a note, the Pro model does require the installation of a module at the original doorbell transformer. This is done by simply attaching two wires to existing terminals and taping the module to an empty spot. Also, the Pro model does not use a battery and depends on house power only. Ring does provide an app which ties together the cameras and the alarm system if you have it.

This is a great idea and a great security product. It's easy to install and works with an existing doorbell chime. No batteries are required as it is powered by the transformer that powers the existing doorbell.

I bought ring pro for my husband who wanted to be alerted anytime someone entered our driveway. So far, it has worked fabulously however the only excitement we have seen so far is our own cars entering and exiting the driveway. Lol. I wish there was a way it could recognize your own license plate if you choose so I don't get alerted each time he leaves or comes home. Other than that ring is awesome and the picture is so clear! I also love that it came with different face plates. One of the options matched the color of my house perfectly so it blends right in. I enjoyed that we both can get alerts but my husband can alter setting that I cannot which is fine. It does make me feel safer knowing that when I am home alone, that I can answer the door with out being at the door as we are in a wooded area with few neighbors nearby.

Arrived on time, works as advertised, install was simple. I installed over an old wired doorbell system no issues, instructions were clear step by step. Happy with product will recommend.

This thing is great. Even if you are not home, you know who was at your home and when. You can even talk to whomever is at the door, while you are away. Monitor package deliveries too.

It's easy to install with great quality. The App is easy to instal also.

Purchased this over a year ago to add an extra layer of security while we were vacationing out of the country. We installed this using the existing wiring for the old doorbell as we didn't want to have to change batteries often or worry about the camera failing when needed. Clarity of the video is excellent and I like being able to customize the motion zone as I didn't want every car driving by to set it off. The Ring app is very easy to use and it helps with the initial set up. Trying to speak with someone at the door is a bit of a challenge as the sound is very glitchy. Not sure if it is a device or a wifi issue but the quality could be better. Overall very happy with this.

Camera and motion detection are excellent. We love it! Super easy to install and set up—we had it up and running really fast. App is user friendly and easy to use and their customer service is great!

Very easy for anyone to operate. to operate. The images are good quality. I covers a wide range of area with good images. Night vision is excellent. Easy to install if you wish to do on your own.
