Review long overdue. I’ve had the doorbell for a year now. The video quality is great. Setup was easy. In the process of buying the security cameras.

Needed some security for my home and this is perfect it has great pictures and will alert you when someone is near your home I have already purchased 2

Video is very good . Also love how it lets you see the person ringing doorbell before getting near door. Also love how the motion detection works even when doorbell is not rung.

Doorbell works great and has nice camera with almost too wide of a view. Had to alter motion detector to limit alerts to just persons.

Ive dealt with many security cameras, this is a no brainer! Easy to install and very good range of view. Especially if you already have a wired doorbell. Once the parameters are set you get notified even if if the doors is not pressed. * important* make sure you check to see if your door bell transformer meets the required voltage which is from 16volt - 24volt. Very easy to check , use a volt meter. If your not savvy in this, call a electrician. Follow instruction to the tee. It’s amazing and shortly I will be adding other components to add to my security system.

I call this product easy because everything about it is simple. Upon removing your existing doorbell and connecting the Ring, a tutorial begins to you to walk you through the installation process in the app. After connecting through my internal doorbell, I was set up and using it in minutes. I love the idea of setting different zones for motion detection as it eliminates things falsely turning it on (like passing cars). All videos are uploaded to the cloud which they give you free for 30 days. After the 30 days it is very affordable to keep. We love the upgrade and security this now provides for the family.

This “Ring” doorbell has many settings so that if you choose not to use the default setting it can be custom for you. I love that the camera expands out. On mine I can see you when you pull into my driveway! Delivery carriers better be more careful because I can now prove how an unnamed carrier just throws my packages up on the porch with no cares often breaking fragile items inside. I also like that at any time I can check and see what is going on outside just by clicking live view. I have had this for several weeks. There are many positives and so far, no negatives!

This is my 3rd Ring product. Our business is right beside our home and we added another Ring door bell to our business. As long as you have good WiFi, the product will work and alert you to motion and also when a person rings the door bell.

Received this item as a gift and so far I love it. The first one would not connect to my home network but Ring was great in sending me a replacement item very quickly! The replacement unit has worked perfectly so far and the only thing I added was the Ring Network Extender to ensure that the unit was receiving a strong signal. Took a few days to work out the proper motion zones as I live in a townhouse so there is close proximity to neighbors and the road but after some trial and error I am very happy with it and it has helped me feel more at ease when I'm not at home. Overall an excellent product and well worth the expense.

My husband, an electrical engineer, took almost 3 hours to install this doorbell. Once installed and set up, we find connections through the Ring App to be very slow to non-existent. However, when it does connect the images are excellent. Sound quality is poor. The time lag from alert, ring and connection is up to a minute, so delivery people have left before I could communicate with them. I am currently recovering from foot surgery and cannot get to door. We thought this would be an answer to seeing, communicating with delivery people and visitors.

Needed a new doorbell and this fit nicely into my home automation. Easy installation, easy set up and clear picture from camera. Their app is friendly and works perfectly.

Set up was a bit of a hassle, mainly because the doorbell did not receive power initially. No clue why it didnt. after messing with it for a day or so we got it to work. We didn't change any of the connections so I'm not sure what changed.

I have had the RING doorbell for several years and love it! It gives me piece of mind. I like that I know when packages are delivered, when it alerts me that someone is at my door and that I can use the live feature to check out what’s heppening around my front door.

My family and I love this product, the video and sound quality is great. Setup is easy and the app is very user friendly as well.

Takes great videos and pictures. Only downside is that when power goes out we have to reconnect it.

Highly recommend this item! It was very very easy to install, I did it myself... it didn’t take 20min!!! The ring app is awesome, very clear picture!

This camera was easy to install, looks great, and the picture quality is wonderful. Sometimes the 2 way audio isn’t very clear.

Love the video feature and the fact I can view activity while I'm away. Does have a slight fisheye view but all in all a great security camera.

I purchased this to update a previous ring that had burned out. I like the fact that it came with 3 different face plates so I could personalize to my house. Installation instructions were easy to follow. I was able to install and be able to use in a little over an hour. I really like the way this product allows you to see who is at the door and talk to them if you are not available. It is also great to see how your package is being delivered on your front step. Ring also has pretty good customer service if you need to ask questions.
