Item was a gift, but it works great. I have one myself. Easy to use. Set up is fairly easy. Clear picture and motion zones are easy to set up.

So far this has been awesome! Still need to adjust the sensitivity...it rings when there are real bright fireworks or lightening strikes. The video quality is great.

I would recommend the Ring doorbell to anyone concerned about security from porch pirates and unwanted visitors. Works great and easy to install.

This is a great product which does every thing it says it will do. However, to maximize your results you must have a door bell transformer that puts out 24 volts. After I made this change everything worked perfectly. We are really pleased with the RING DOOR BELL.

It gives you a great picture of who is at your door and it's always easy to use. Whenever I'm on the Wi-Fi network it's a piece of cake to answer the door.

Works well and picture quality both day and night are great. FYI you do get 30 days free app trial, after that it is $3 a month or $30 a year. If you have a mechanical doorbell speaker it won't be as loud once you install the ring, so I had to purchase 2 chimes ($29.99 each) one for downstairs and other upstairs. I took away 1 star because of this. It should've at least included 1 chime. Other than that, everything works well. My husband and I installed the apps on our phone and able to login simultaneously. Overall great purchase and we're satisfied.

Install is very easy . Especially if the house has wired door bell to start with. Just take off the old outside pad for the bell and attach the two wires to the Ring. Set up took some getting used to as the house is basically level to the street so to stop getting alerts with every passing car I finally had to set alert zone to just on our side of the sidewalk. Since installing the Ring we have learned a neighboring kitty frequently likes to sit on our porch in the evening.

This camera is great. Easy to install and set up to your wifi. Great picture quality too. I will purchase more ring products in the future.

Working ok so far, my yard is shallow so the motion detection is triggered more often. Ring has an online video on how to install, luckily my home doorbell was almost the exact same as in the video so it was easy to follow along.

This is a great product. I would have given it 5 stars if Ring had provided Home Kit support. Works fantastic and the iPhone app is pretty good too. Get a Chime too...makes the holidays fun because you can select holiday ring tones.

The Ring Doorbell was easy to install, and that's saying something coming from me! I had it up and running within an hour. Within minutes, I started getting motion alerts. It took a few days of adjusting the strength and setting up a schedule that worked well for my family. The one thing I would like to see improved is the lag between when the doorbell is pushed and the alert comes through my phone. It's long enough that sometimes its just easier to answer the door than it is to unlock my phone, launch the app and see whose at the door.

I was so happy with the installation video and all the part/tools were included. I installed this in about 20 minutes. Works great.

This is as easy to setup as they come. I love that you can adjust the motion zone to avoid false alarms, but still maximize coverage. Very crisp clear video.

So far so good. Easy install and set up ( and I am a female in my late 50s). Works great! And if I don’t want to save my videos long term (and pay a fee), I can still review any activity that has happened. I just look at the videos throughout the day or last thing at night and delete what I don’t want/need. Of course, paying the $30 annual fee is a very reasonable price if one doesn’t check their video recordings daily and/or wants to save videos longer. I’m waiting for the thirty day free trial to end before I make a decision.

This is a good product when on wifi for me. I have read other reviews with the same problem. I still like the product although wished it worked using data from my phone. Still a good deterrent for criminal activity. Records well!

Ring prides itself on ease of use I had zero trouble setting this up I like the quality but wish the doorbell view was not a fisheye Just personal preference

Love it! Easy to install, good clear picture. Easy to use with app on my IPhone. Can “tweak” it so animals, cars driving by, etc don’t set it off.

This doorbell is excellent, has performed reliably for more than a year as I write this, through some weather extremes. It has exceeded expectations as a convenience--to be able to chat with someone at the door of my home while I'm miles away, to be able to keep an eye on my front yard (and have video of any questionable activity). The motion sensor was triggered by heavy, wind-blown snow, but there have been no other false alarms, and Ring continues to upgrade their motion-sensing technology.
