This not only is a discreet device, it does such a great job increasing your security. I love the integration with other Ring products within the same mobile app. I can be far away and always know what's going on at home. I can report that the video quality is awesome, especially if you download it. Also, I am very impressed with the view angle and microphone range, it really pick a lot of sounds around, to the point that is almost scary how powerful and capable tech has become.

I bought this doorbell for my myself and made the mistake of not checking to see if the Ring doorbell pro was wired / wireless. The Ring doorbell pro is ONLY wired. It doesn't support wireless. Anyways, I ended up giving the doorbell to my parents who were able to set it up without issue. Their hardest part was dealing with the iphone app (which they aren't very tech savvy so it's not the companies fault). They love the doorbell and the security / peace of mind it offers. Also getting motion alerts while they are out of the house is great.

Overall it’s good. The picture is clear and the installation was not too difficult. The hardest part was figuring out which circuit breaker to flip in my basement. One complaint: When people are close to the door then I can’t see their faces. It’s possible that a wedge is needed to get the correct angle, but wished the camera had a taller vertical view. Horizontal view seems wide enough.

My grandson installed this for me and it works real good. So not too hard to install. Picture is very clear.

The quality of the picture and the audio surpasses my expectations. It was easy to install. It does everything it was advertised to do.

Bought this for my parents for safety/security. I love that they can see who is at the door without having to be seen by the person who is at the door. They can also get alerted to anyone approaching the yard/house when away from the home. At first it drove them crazy with excessive alerts, but if you go into the app the alert sensitivity and alert zones Are highly customizable. Video quality impressed me.

This was a gift for my son and his family for Christmas, they loved it. He immediately installed it and then they played with it for several hours for fun. I bought another one for my daughter and her family. They are just wonderful!

Had the original when it was called doorbot. Finally upgraded. Works great. Set up zones. Detects motion. Video is great. Very clear.

Went to Best Buy to look into getting the Ring Doorbell since one of my old neighbors got it and said how they liked it a lot. I was worried about the size of the standard Ring unit as my original ringer was in an 1" 3/4 door jam and the original one is very bulky. I went to Best Buy on 4/24 and I happen to see the Ring Pro.... I received an email from Ring after setup that it was in error that Ring Pro was on the shelves. But to my benefit, my wife was a bit unsure of the gadget, but after installation and see the notifications she has received during the day, she is sold and loves it as well as I do. This is a small piece of mind while you are not at your home. Well worth the investment.

Installing the Ring Pro was fairly straightforward. I'm certainly no electrician, but I was able to figure it out. I did have to drill a hole where the doorbell goes, but thankfully they provide a drill bit that can handle cement/bricks. The set up process was also simple. It involves hitting a button on the side of the doorbell, pairing your phone with it, and then choosing which wireless network to connect to along with supplying the wifi password. One feature that I was surprised to see is the ability to disable your normal doorbell from ringing (which my dog goes crazy over), so it would only notify you of motion or button pushes via the apps. As far as how the Ring Pro functions, it works well for the most part, however, there are 3 cons: 1) The video was sometimes choppy, losing frames. I had to install a wireless router closer to the Ring Pro, and this helped significantly. The router is also dedicated to the Ring Pro, so I'm sure that helps. 2) Even with the dedicated wireless router, sometimes playing back the recorded video (in the cloud) will be choppy. This seems to be happening less lately, and is only a minor annoyance. 3) The Windows 10 Ring app on my laptop will only work properly for about 1 day before it starts crashing. The workaround is to uninstall/reinstall the app, but then again it will only work for about 1 day. I don't have this issue on my other Win 10 desktop, and the Android and iOS apps also work fine for me. I have complained to their support team, and they said they're working on it, and they were nice enough to give me 5 years of their subscription service for free. Even though there are a few cons, I still highly recommend the Ring Pro. I've talked a few coworkers into purchasing them, and they enjoy them too. Later, I purchased the separate Chime accessory which plays configurable ring tones when the Ring Pro detects motion or when someone pushes the button (separate tones for each).

Love my Ring Doorbell let's me know whose at the door. Great day and night picure. Motion detection pickup any movement well.

Video is very clear. Only issue is connectivity sometimes fails but that could be due to location of router.

So far it is excellent. I had the original Ring Doorbell before and it should be taken off the market. It picked up EVERY car that passed in front of my house even though I had all the settings for it not to. The response time on the Pro is so much better and I have it setup to pick up people only. Although I have a friendly lizard that climbs my porch wall that sets off my Ring Pro ever so often,

I've not used any other comparable product, but this one usually ranks 1 or 2 on lists. Installation wasn't too hard with the video instructions. There are two nice aspects of this model. One, it uses the wired power to the original doorbell instead of battery power, and, two, it comes with multiple. colored covers. One of them matched our siding perfectly. Be sure that your WiFi has a strong signal to where the doorbell will mount. If it's weak, notifications and video won't be that good.

This is a very easy doorbell to install and it works really well. Love the recording and motion detection and being able to talk from smartphone.

We are a little late to the video doorbell, and I wish we had purchased this a long time ago. Works great.

I bought this item on Black Friday of 2017 and so far I absolutely love it. Setting the motion zones was a key factor in purchasing this model. I got a smart doorbell because packages are easy to monitor if you are out and about
