Picture and sound quality is great. With the motion activation camera, you know if anyone or anything that come to your front door.

This device was super easy to install. Maybe 10 to 15 minutes from opening the box to done. No issues with it yet on my mesh network which has had issues with other products. My only wish is that it had internal memory in case the Wi-Fi goes down. Would also like battery backup for power outtage. All in all its a great device. Now to cover the rest of my house. Love the instant live view option. Work Wi-Fi firewall blocks the live view unfortunately.

The product delivers performance and high quality video. Easy to install but the documentationnew needs more work.

I could not be happier with my Ring - Video Doorbell Pro. It was installed at an apartment I purchased for my daughter and provides a true sense of security for my daughter as well as for my wife and I. I had a licensed electrician who was doing other work at the apartment install the Ring - Video Doorbell Pro. I think I could have done it myself based upon my observing the installation. GREAT PRODUCT!

Read the many bad reviews, read the few good reviews, and thought I should take a chance anyway. Install was fine, got the latest updates, but the camera is not working correctly. If the camera sees more sky in the background than people in the foreground it simply incorrectly adjusts to the sky. So not matter how bright the porch or time of day the person in the video is just a shadow. It is like the brightness and contrast are not automatically adjusting correctly on the camera. The only way to see anyone is if they stand 1 foot from the camera to block out the sky and the camera finally adjusted to show an acceptable picture. The attached picture at a specific time of day was truly the best I could get out of hours of trying. Called the very nice support team a week ago who confirmed they saw the same issue but have not heard back. Will be returning this weekend unless I hear from support on some sort of fix to address the issue.

This works very well and very easy to install. I bought the wireless version. However, it is the old ring door and the quality isn’t the greatest. I will be replacing this one for the ring2 or pro, forgot the correct name for it. In short, if you are going to invest in it, buy the latest for it is improved in quality-you pay what you get.

Easy to setup and install. Very clear picture. Sound is not the best but that’s not what I really needed anyways.

I definitely recommend anyone who doesn’t have a Ring doorbell to buy one. It definitely gives you a little more peace of mind. Especially if you buy the membership, you have access to all activity in front of the camera. The only thing that detracts a bit is in the evening, if all the lights are off, the detail is not as clear as it is during sunlight hours, but overall, better than not having security at all!

Love the ring doorbell! Did take a while to get working!! Had to order a 30 amp transformer. It would be nice for Best Buy techs that come out to install to carry must have equipment and components even if it’s a for sale item to get it working! Had two service calls and no one could get it working! Ver frustrating and time consuming! The you tube videos helped direct me to the 30 amp transformer.

Purchased the Ring Pro because of the narrow area available to mount the doorbell. It looks great and the video is excellent. The only issue is latency on sensor notifications. If the UPS guy drops off a package, usually I end up seeing him walking away. It's fine for someone ringing the doorbell and waiting for an answer. I got an extender as part of the deal but the system said my signal was strong enough not to need it. Overall I'm happy.

Totally worth it. Get Ring. Great for security. Ease of use. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

Took me 30 minutes to install and setup. Great picture and fast response. Also came with several different color options!

Ok, bottom line is that when the system is up and running it works really well. The problem is that it depends on a VERY good WiFi signal (upgraded to the Google WiFi mesh system) to stay on all the time and give a consistent picture, etc. the company offers decent tech support and product support, but they’re no Apple. It’s the only thing like it that I can find so you’re a little bit stuck for now. Hopefully they’re in a big learning curve right now and will get better putting out quality hardware and teaching CSRs better support strategies

This product is a must have. Great camera picture quality. Definitely feel safer with it installed at my home.
