Overall installation wasn't that bad, except took a bit of time to review the installation video, and the instruction to get it working. I like the motion zones alert setting which can reduce getting false alert when cars passing thru on the road. I have yet to sign up the Ring Protect Plan. However it is a bit unclear on the lifetime purchase protection if that requires subscription to the ring protect plan?

I have had it for over a month now and I am very happy with it. I installed it easily and it had no problems from the beginning and it works as advertised. The live view is great and being able to view the recorded motions is great. People can hear you clearly through the bell and you can see and hear them clearly also. My one gripe is that Ring should give you a yard sign for free instead of trying to charge you $50 for it, you are essentially advertising their product for free. I won't pay for it.

Very easy to install and use. Has great picture and only $30 a year to keep your video in the cloud.

Easy to install, make sure your transformer is putting out correct voltage and you are set. Very good image from camera too!

Installation wasnt too difficult. The video quality is good. Better than expected. So far it is giving alot of alerts due to motion. Wind moving nearby bushes triggers it. I just need to adjust the settings a bit. I was worried there would be issues with internet bandwith but it is working fine. Overall, i really like it. I'm looking to add a Ring Stick Up camera to cover my driveway now.

I can see the 4 homes directly in front of my home. I wished I can put two on my home but the rest have to be either a camera or a flood light camera. The picture is clear.Ring camera personal are great. My only drawback was having to go back scrolling through the video to find out who broke my flowers... this process has been slow but I was trying to find out if it was a animal or a human.

I originally passed on this item after finding a similar item by a different brand for cheaper. I def got what i paid for. That product barely made it through 30 days and the high cost for their cloud storage, id rather not even talk about it. The Ring doorbell is a great product! It works as advertised and was pretty easy to set up. I was eligible for a free Amazon Echo which I was able to use to pull up the video feed on my Samsung TV.

I had a Nest doorbell before moving to my new home, and I have to say, the Ring doorbell Pro provides better connectivity and works well with other of my systems, like the Brilliant switch, The video capture is extremely accurate, and it is always connected, never experiencing drops in signal like for some reason I have with my Nest Hello. Will recommend this anytime. By the way, installation is really easy!

The set up was easy if you can follow simply instructions. But it buffered and I wasn't clear on how to fix it. Had to call Ring and, long story short, my WiFi wasn't strong enough. The doorbell works great but not without a strong WiFi signal. I had to but a WiFi extender that made this project pretty expensive. I had to mount the extender within about 20' from the doorbell and it still buffers sometimes. The doorbell needs a VERY strong signal.

The device was very easy to install if you are the handy type. I didn’t give it 5 stars because my app takes a while load the live feed. My wife says she doesn’t have that problem. I do have an old iPhone and she has a new Samsung. Either way it’s a great start to home security. I really like that you can share recordings to any neighbor with the app and the price for storing 90 days worth of recordings is very affordable.
