The doorbell was easy to install and the directions were great. We have an older doorbell chime inside that had a different connection setup so we called support and they were able to help us out. So far the product is working great. We did notice if we used the live motion too much at one time then it wouldn't alert us to a doorbell but the chime still worked and once we got past the first day of tinkering, it has been alerting us fine.

The quality of the picture is good. There is a slight delay from the button press/motion detection and the notification on my phone. Also a little slow connecting to the door bell once notified even when at home on fast wifi. When someone comes home, they usually make it inside the house before I get the notification that someone is at the door.

Being 71, it's annoying to have to get up from the living room in the back of the house to see who is at the door, with this door bell, I can see and talk to who is at the front door.. In addition, I don't have to be home to "answer " the door so the person ringing the door bell does not know that I am not home. It was also easy to install myself, RING gives you everything you need, including screwdriver and drill bit.

Good product so far, it was very sensitive at first but I adjusted the settings and working better so far . It does have a delay when the doorbell button is pushed and until the notice is sent to phone . Sometimes by the time the app opens the screen it does not show anything .

Really easy to install and configure. Provides an extra layer of security whether home or away.

All the reviews online kept mentioning the Pro version would be so much better than the original etc. I ended up having to buy a more updated wired doorbell kit because the Pro ate all the power and the doorbell chime inside the house wouldn't go off. On top of that, I have AT&T U-Verse with really good signal etc and even in my office at work, but whenever someone rings my Pro outside, I never get a notification. I even tried both of my phones -- one is a HTC 10 Android the other an iPhone 6s -- and neither gets the notifications of people ringing my doorbell. Not to mention, if by some chance I actually do get the Ring notification on my smartphone, if you have an unlock code or pattern, by the time you type it in etc, the Ring notification is gone and you are out of luck. Ring also was not overly clear on their subscription service ... so if you don't pay after the trial, and you don't get the notification of the Ring, you have no clue who rang the doorbell. I assumed their service was to store visuals in the cloud, but no, it's actually for you to see anything at all! UGH! Expensive and not happy.

I like that I can be anywhere and see a live view the front and back of my home. I also like that I am able to speak with anyone who is at my door.

This is a very easy to use and install doorbell/camera. Both of mine are hard wired so I never have to worry about the battery but I have had the battery one in a home I owned and the battery life was pretty impressive! I would not buy a different brand when I need another doorbell/camera! Ring is awesome and so is the application for my iPhone.

Love this product so much I bought them for family members for Christmas

I first got the Ring floodlight for my garage, and liked it enough to get this for the front door. Easy install as long as you don't need to drill into brick and have a good spot for it in the current doorbell location. Otherwise the project will be a little more complicated with wiring to a new location. Measure and prepare before picking the right product.

Have had this about 3 weeks now and I'm loving it so far. Got some great video of solicitors talking smack about which houses they should go to because they have money. I had to change the motion sensitivity to the lowest setting because I was getting alerted to every car that was driving by my house. The video quality is great and I'm glad I upgraded to a better camera.

Easy installation, and video quality with good looking styling. Only issue, too many alerts.

Camera was very easy to install and setup. Quality of video is great.

I got the pro model because of the slim design. This device works for us I'm not sure why there are some bad reviews I think it's because It requires a good quick Internet access. I like the option within the software where you can set up motion sensing in certain areas that you choose to do avoid false alarms as much as possible. I love this technology where even if I'm not home I can still talk to whom ever is at my door.
