It is much better and sleeker. I definitely prefer wired to the battery operated. It is thinner also.

In principle, the Ring Doorbell is a great upgrade to traditional doorbells. It's advertising promises the ability to pre-screen visitors and even communicate to them when you aren’t at home. Camera has wide view angle. Easy setup. I recomend this production.

Great for adding on other Ring products. Easy interface and most of the work is done on your on cellphone. Have bought the cameras for outdoors as well as an indoor one. I also have the alarm system which is $10/month! Cant beat that versus other alarm systems out there. Id buy all products if I could from Ring.

Nice bell, set up was difficult. Make sure you have 2.5 wireless band. 5.0 wont work. Once installed, works well and Alexa compatible. Delay in time from the time door bell is pressed until software alert on phone. Be sure to measure mounting surface before you choose the Ring model best for you

Buying my ring doorbell pro was one the best investments that I could have made with a piece of mind, knowing that my house is safe and secured. The clarity of seeing what's going on in the front of my home is amazing. I also love the fact that I can communicate threw the ring app as well.

Installation was very easy. Most difficult part was locating circuit that runs power to doorbell. Software/app interface is very easy to use and get running. Depending on what’re your doorbell is located on non flat siding, u may need to buy an extension on Amazon. Ring does not carry it.

I purchased the ring video doorbell pro and absolutely love it! I set the motion detector to pick up movement as people approach our home and it has worked out really well! I receive a message on my phone indicating that the sensor has picked up movement and it begins recording and sending the data to cloud storage. I really like this product and would recommend it to others!

I bought this doorbell because I didn’t have much room to install it. It is not as wide as the rechargeable model. Quality is fine. Easy to install and looks good. It would have gotten five stars except for the fact that it doesn’t record every time I get a notification. That’s frustrating.

Although the actual receipt of this item was a huge fiasco that resulted in me boycotting Best Buy online, the product is good. The app for Android doesn’t seem to have the same features as the iPhone app which is sad but all in all it was easy to set up and works great. Nice to have a record of those who come to the door.
