I own two of these video doorbells and couldn’t be happier with their quality. They are reliable and the company offers great support.

This doorbell is the best and cheapest way to keep your home secured or at least safe. You can set up the sensor parameters, customize the sound and even switch to night vision in color. The app was updated so it keeps adding features to it. You can also playback any movements or ring alerts and shared them through the app.

Installation was easy and the motion notifications are as useful as the ring notifications. I would recommend the ring video doorbell.

Easy to set up, great picture quality, lightning fast notifications!

Tried the August doorbell, and this Ring is far superior in my opinion. It works with your existing doorbell wiring and transformer (adapter to wire in at your inside doorbell transformer, no biggie though). The video is always great, very quick to pull up past videos or the Live View. Love it. Will probably be adding the Ring Cameras around the house as well.

Excellent camera with great HD quality. I got the original Ring camera but was really unimpressed with the 720p resolution. The Pro is 1080p and looks every bit of it. The camera isn’t as clear at night which is why I cant give it 5 stars, but overall, it’s a great buy.

The Ring pro doorbell works great. I am very happy with the motion detection zones. Setting them up properly can prevent a lot of false positive motion alerts. Its only weakness is the night vision. It seems like the IR lights reflect off the brick that this is near making it hard to see. It does work, just not nearly as well as during daylight hours.

I was able to install the product in about 20min. If you have an existing door bell, half the work is done for you. IF NOT, this product may not be for you. Once power converter was installed @ doorbell point, the outer doorbell assembly is pretty painless to install. Setting up the RING with the app is also pretty quick and painless. Keep in mind that this unit uses WIFI so if your signal is not that great where the doorbell will be installed you may need to install a repeater or relocate your wifi access point. Other point worth noting is that the video is a bit grainy and I wouldn't expect it to be because this is their "high end" version. Second, I'm expected to pay for them to record my video with no option for me to record video myself. Even ARLO by netgear gives you some recording time. I may return the product.... The novelty is neat. Just not sure it's worth 200.00

Easy to install and adds signicant security at a reasonable price.

I bought this one to replace my 1st generation Ring, which got zapped during an electrical storm. This Ring has a much sharper image and the overall quality is great. I did, however, purchase and install a new doorbell transformer with a greater voltage capacity, so that may have had something to do with it.

Easy to install get product good pictures and sound quality

I went through 3 of these from BestBuy with no luck, the very first one I bought came the closest to working, the second two were very flakey, I would get notifications but no video. The first one would not let me do a live view. I went through all the troubleshooting with Ring support with no luck on getting any of the first three to work. I ended up trying the original Ring with no issues which I put on the back door. Ring support really tried to help but with no luck. They offered me a year free of video recording which I used on the original Ring doorbell. Ring support called me a week later and offered me a new Ring Pro at 1/2 price to try one more time to get the Ring Pro to work. I took them up on their offer and to my surprise the one they sent me worked. Overall I am very impressed with their customer service, but they have either a quality problem or software/firmware issues with the Pro version. Before Ring made the offer to get a Pro at half price and it actually worked I would have given this review a 1. I am not sure if BestBuy had a bad batch or what but the one Ring sent me did work.

Purchased to alleviate fears of packages disappearing from doorstep. Initial setup was not hard, but the doorbell would not stay connected to my network at first. Had to do re-sync a couple of times over the first hour or two before it finally staying locked in. Since having it, it is neat and comes in handy for packages.

I followed the instructions and it worked perfect from the beginning. I always fear the Wi-Fi will be an issue but it wasn't. What I like is when you review a motion alert or bell alert it plays from about 5 seconds before the actual motion to give you a full picture of what happened. I'm going to buy the solar camera next since this worked out so well.
