Got the ring doorbell for the front door. I liked the easy to follow installation instructions and that the box included a tool and extra parts for easy hook up. Had it for a month now and it works great; no regrets. It was worth paying for the more expensive model that saves video to cloud so I can replay video history.

I still think this is one of the best purchases I've ever made. It brings you peace of mind and sense of security. You can easily see who is at your door even before they get there. In ther next few weeks I'll be purchasing the flood light as well.

With recent burglaries in our area, this has been great. Love that we're able to see when anyone comes near our door - whether they ring the doorbell or not. We've been very happy with this product. Only issue we've faced is we sometimes lose connectivity and we're forced to reconnect.

This product is fantastic... installation can be a challenge but with time and patience anyone can get it done.

Took a while to work up the courage to hook up once electrician installed. Shouldn't have waited; it's easy and so amazing. Been using it 3 days and it is mind-blowing the sensitivity of camera; the detail; and the accuracy. If only I had installed immediately. You won't be sorry.

This was a brilliant idea and game changer, Now regardless where you are, you get a motion alert or doorbell alert when someone comes to your door. You can talk to them and give instructions on where to put a package, etc. Also records video for extra security.

What great timing; after installing it, I had two incidents (fireworks being set at the house from neighbors and an incident with a subcontractor) that I was SO HAPPY was caught on video. Definitely worth it! Works well, no glitches, and highly reliable.

Ring PRO is the way to go. First it looks better. And for just $50 more, it has better features than the regular Ring. Yes, you must have a wired connection for this to work properly. Setup was fairly easy but it didn't work right at first. Had to reset my whole chime a couple of times before bugs were worked out. Nonetheless, it makes me feel more secure knowing I can activate the camera anytime I wish. The video resolution is excellent. And videos are easy to share. I HIGHLY recommend buying a chime that has been field tested by Ring. Go to Ring website and get the list of approved chimes. Otherwise you may be very frustrated.

The Ring Doorbell Pro was very easy to install and setup. It works very well and is easy to adjust the range/sensitivity. I initially had issues with our house lights setting the unit off in the morning when they turned off. I adjusted the viewing area slightly which eliminated setting off the motion sensor.

I can't believe that I was hesitant to purchase one of these. I can answer my door from anywhere and see and talk to the person. Great for security and also when I don't want to move off the couch. Just make sure you have good wifi at the doorbell. You can't go wrong. I have also purchased a Stick Up cam recently.

does the job . easy to install, used a wedge for best angle, customized field of view recording to eliminate street with vehicles setting it off every 3 minutes, also has a "people only" mode which also eliminates traffic alerts. Works great

Really like the Ring, great video and audio. Very sensitive motion, maybe TOO sensitive as it picks up motion from my neighbor's sidewalk but I guess I have to fiddle with the "motion detection area" settings to minimize that. App is easy to use.

Because of the Ring I was able to recover my dog when she got out of the fence. Without it I would not have known she was even out of the yard. Love that I can see and talk to anyone at the door regardless of whether I am on the other side of it or in another town. Great technology. Easily installed and easy to use.

It works great but my only complaint is that when the trial runs out, it doesn’t store any video at all. I’m used to Canary which stores video for a limited time without a subscription. Other than that, features are great and easy to setup.

It's been a while since I installed the doorbell pro, easy to install and set up for the DIY guy. Syncing with the app was no problem, the quality of video and pictures is OK. Notification on the phone are a little bit delayed when someone rings the bell.

Good product. Camera is very clear and loads quickly. Recently saw "Wise" cameras on a family members phone that were a fraction of the cost. So maybe more budget friendly choices out there with similar quality.

I haven't figured out how to keep it from picking up every little thing and sometimes when I try to bring up the video it is just a black screen. But I was able to set it up fairly easily and for the most part it works fine.

I absolutely love this product. Just make sure to have good internet, otherwise it’ll be pixely. It’s a very easy installation if you have a door bell thats working currently too. Do not be intimidated on installing it.

So far I love this addition to the house. Allows you to see and record when people come up to your door. Even used it to talk to the delivery person one day. Only downside is on one instance it constantly rang the bell when no on e was there and I had to disconnect it from the bell.

Unless your Gateway ( WIFI router) is within 10 feet of your door with no obstacles in between, you might as well just buy a WIFI extender before you leave the store. ( These are rough estimates.) The extender just increases the range of your original signal strength but does not increase the strength or the speed. In order to get smooth video, you need 2 MBPS upload speed but slower speed will get you by. I have only .9 MBPS upload ( 10 Download) and the picture is acceptable ( a little jerky and it might skip a few "frames" ) but it is better than nothing. Just waiting till we can get faster internet in this area. The app is great because it has a lot of useful settings to customize it to your house. Was easy to install and had to contact customer service once for help. They were knowledgeable and professional. ( Said I needed the above mentioned enhancements etc. so I went back and bought the WIFI extender.) Works OK now.
