I love my new ring door bell, I installed it myself and it was essy setup. I would recomend this doorbell to anyone who is seeking to be a first time camera buyer, like myself.

To start off , the price was good . Motion, battery life and just in total , works great for my family. Works better the the one we had prior.

This doorbell is awesome! The motion sensor works very well, and it’s great that we can talk to people through the Ring app or Alexa instead of having to open the door and talk to people. The battery charge lasts about 3 months which is pretty decent.

This ring camera is a must not only because of the quality of it but also the way it functions. It records the street view, cars passing by, and the action right in front of your door.

My wife and I kept having issues with folks stealing our packages. So, we asked around with friends and family. We kept getting recommended the Ring camera. Worth every $ we spent. amazing quality and sound.

I was really excited for my husband to hook up this doorbell. I took away a star because the doorbell does not pick up when amazon delivers a package and does not ring the doorbell, but it was picking up every truck that drove by. My husband said he played around with the settings, but it’s still not working to my complete satisfaction. I do love the camera it works really well and the visibility is great.

Good camera and easy set up. But does not come with angled bracket.

This is the second ring product ive bought. I prefer Ring over any other security device. Easy installation, also, very easy to set up with my other Ring camera.

Love this thing. Makes me feel Secure in my apartment. Going to buy another, when it’s on sale again. LOL Great price.

Definitely recommend getting this ring doorbell gives peace of mind when I’m away from work east to use plus I like that I can decide if I wanna answer the door lol

I love my Ring. I am able to see everything thing that goes on clearly. The only issue I have is that my VPN works so well, I have to turn it off to be able to answer the Ring doorbell. I am ok with that once I figured it out. I will purchased another Ring product soon.

Its good to be able to see whose coming to my home before I open the door. With this doorbell camera im also able to see whats happening in the closeby vicinity.

I live in an apartment and it makes me feel safe having it on my door and it’s also super useful to see who’s at the door when I don’t feel like standing up to check.

I have the Ring Doorbell Pro and had thought of getting the Ring Doorbell for another door which is not wired. I was not impressed with it and held off until I noticed that the 2nd Generation version with better image detail and better night vision was available for the same price (actually on sale when I saw it, so even cheaper). I was not disappointed. As expected, the battery life leaves much to be desired and the product really wants a fairly strong wifi signal (I have interference from neighbors so I had to boost my signal significantly to avoid it disconnecting). You would want an Android (or Windows Phone) app to monitor signal strength since it is much more difficult to evaluate wifi signals using an iPhone. Installation was straightforward other than the wifi issue and it has worked reliably since installation. The Ring Protect trial plan is one month (unless you get a big box store deal), and they messed that up by discontinuing my regular plan on my Ring Pro. A few calls to support may have corrected this. All in all, this works fine and with the new feature they added to integrate it with my Lutron Caseta door light works well. I was going to give this an "average" rating since the Ring Doorbell is nearly by definition the "average" for this type of device, but I upgraded it to "good" because it works. We seem to have become a society where if something works as promised with think it is above average. How sad is that.

The best purchase for security for my home has been the door ring. No matter where I am at, I get notifications w video as to who was at my door.

I was super excited to get this and had really high hopes for it but I kinda regret getting it. I’ve owned this doorbell and another Ring floodlight for a few years now and I’ve really been debating on just getting rid of them and replacing them entirely. I didn’t realize this before purchasing, which I get is my fault, but I didn’t realize you needed a monthly subscription to use basically all of the advertised features. Oh well, that’s fine, I got a subscription anyways, but the subscription cost has raised slightly almost every year now yet there are never really any new features or anything. I just noticed the other day actually, Ring did add new features, but locked it behind ANOTHER separate subscription. I really don’t get why they felt the need to make an entirely new and separate subscription add-on when I’m already paying one. I’ll miss out on those features since I really refuse to support their greed, but it does bother me that the camera quality is pretty lackluster. Especially in low-light environments, you really can’t see much as the night vision is pretty bad. It does the trick though I guess. I’m sure there’s better options and especially ones from companies that don’t try to nickel and dime you, but this product is probably below average. I would maybe have it for a vacation home or property that I’m not at often, but I really would not recommend this for a primary home.
