    I also own one of the first gen cameras. Two things I don't like about this version. One there is no removable battery, the whole unit comes off to recharge. I have a spare battery for the first version and it would have been nice to swap the battery when needed. Second this version no longer comes with the wedges for installation. The first version did. Now if you want wedges, you have to buy them separately for another $20. That seems like a 'nickel and dime them' move to me, not to happy about that.

    The product is very good. It will take some getting use to, but overall it is fine item .The range of the doorbell is excellent because it picks up all motion in the door area. The landing is very sensitive to any movement in the immediate area of it. My wife and I very pleased.
