Easy to install but the drawback is to charge the battery we have to remove the whole device. But overall battery lasts longer compared to the ring battery from spot camera

Ring is a horrible product and company. Not only does this product hardly work and it seems to work worst in times when someone is walking around your house and snooping. There is no 24 hour recording, it’s actually a 5 minute interval between recordings for the maximum amount of video you can record. So as far as the tech goes it’s a hunk of trash. Now let’s get to the community that is remotely controlled by various police departments. Ring literally has inside contracts with over 500 different police departments. When I uploaded a video of someone littering on my property ring took it down and said it went against their community standards. Confused as to which standards I tried to contact them with no success as I was rerouted to contacting support, via email and then got the same generic, “video went against standards”, message from them as well. If you actually want to secure your home do not use ring. If there are crooked cops behind your community’s ring they can cause you massive problems. Google nest is a way better option. Instant streaming, 24 hour recording, facial recognition, high definition videos that make Ring look like it’s running on dial up, 56K. But hey you pay what you get for in Ring, police and big brother monitoring you and your loved ones and they probably have better streaming on their end which is why it never connects for the customer especially when crimes are being committed.

This is my first ring and works good. Able to check live feed and talk. Con: you have to charge the ring and takes time unscrewing. Spend extra for the rechargeable battery if you can. Also I enjoy the ring community on the app, very informative.

I am extremely happy with our purchase. It's nice to have the peace of mind ring gives you. Insanly easy to set up. I wass worried about the battery life but it's insane how long it lasts. I definitely recommend this.

I started using Ring Ring Video Doorbell 2 (2nd Gen) a few days ago and I feel so happy and satisfied with this product because it is so easy to set up/install with the option of using battery or hardwired power, I will be able to see/talk with clarity with whoever comes to my door when I am away from my home and other great features like weather protection, night vision, record/capture, motion alerts and live view so I can definitely have a peace of mind home away from home. Absolutely love it. It was easy to install and is so clear and good to have. No worrying about packages and people coming to my door.

Battery life is good and videos look and sound good. Only problem is the speaker on the ring sounds bad.

These works perfect. Convenient. No wires or screws for install, just purchase a doorbell caddy that clamps on your door. PERFECT for renters and those that do not like wiring. I always know when someone/something is at or near my door.

I had a first generation and got tired of charging the battery, so I bought a solar charger only to find I needed a 2nd gen. I went in the store and compared this to a much higher priced version. They both do the same thing so I really do not understand the difference, and gladly bought this one. The battery is not removeable or replaceable so maybe that's why, but this works great and I got it for a really good price.

We love this camera. It's easy to install and is a grest addition to ouf security system. Tbe view/video quality is amazing.

Love it, easy install and awesome product. But know this your kids will play with it a lot. Also battery last me about 3months then need to be charged, also a subscription fee for camera (no biggie) I do yearly for both doors. I need to see what's going on. Subscription not needed to hear doorbell , if that's all you need it for. Oh yeah announcements are made through other Alexa devices in your home and smart Tv's.
