It works as advertised and improves my security. Well worth the price. Setup was a little confusing for me, but Ring phone support was great and got me going quickly.

This 2020 version of Ring's doorbell doesn't have as many camera features as the more expensive models, but then again, it certainly does what it needs to. A word of advice, though. The battery on this unit is non-removable, so make sure the doorbell is attached to an existing doorbell circuit, that way the on-board battery will get a continuous trickle charge. Also keep in mind you might need to move your wireless router a bit closer to the front door if your signal degrades.

I love the product. It was easy to install and works perfectly.

It’s a great product. I upgraded to this 2020 1080 version from the Original. Better picture quality for sure. I think there’s still much improvement that can be done on the audio and video. But this is best value for someone first ring. There’s a yearly fee for storing videos captured but it’s not required for use. If you choose to not get that you see live videos only while they happen and that’s not practical use.

So happy with this product , it works very well and we feel safer having it

The Ring doorbell camera is a great addition to the family of Ring products I owe, I really like the alert setup, which you can customize to fit your needs, there's also a greater level of security when I'm away from home, because I now can see and hear everything that goes on in front of my property, awesome product

Easy to install and excellent video, as well as, overall performance.

This is our first doorbell camera and it has been great, we have 2-way communication capabilities, multiple different ring types and the picture/audio quality is usually very good. Now i do have to say that the overall record quality is ok but not the best for this model, when watching recorded video the buffer lags out the first second so it can look fuzzy or jumpy but then it clears up. We have yet to figure out how to make it start recording early as it usually starts when whatever set it off is already halfway through the zones we've set up. While the recordings look good overall i have noticed that if you pause the recording to zoom in on say a license plate or face the quality of the image is significantly of lesser qualty al.ost to where you cannot make out the plate number or face. Also not happy that you have to biy the camera and pay for a subscription service to record and save videos.

This is an affordable and sturdy door bell. I also like the ring app as you receive updates of what’s going on in your community. You can either place it on anywhere you want or connect it to your door bell so very flexible.

Love this camera, my husband and I work opposite shifts so it’s great to know I can see what’s going on around my house when he ain’t home!
