This 2020 version of Ring's doorbell doesn't have as many camera features as the more expensive models, but then again, it certainly does what it needs to. A word of advice, though. The battery on this unit is non-removable, so make sure the doorbell is attached to an existing doorbell circuit, that way the on-board battery will get a continuous trickle charge. Also keep in mind you might need to move your wireless router a bit closer to the front door if your signal degrades.

The Ring doorbell camera is a great addition to the family of Ring products I owe, I really like the alert setup, which you can customize to fit your needs, there's also a greater level of security when I'm away from home, because I now can see and hear everything that goes on in front of my property, awesome product

I was super excited to get this and had really high hopes for it but I kinda regret getting it. I’ve owned this doorbell and another Ring floodlight for a few years now and I’ve really been debating on just getting rid of them and replacing them entirely. I didn’t realize this before purchasing, which I get is my fault, but I didn’t realize you needed a monthly subscription to use basically all of the advertised features. Oh well, that’s fine, I got a subscription anyways, but the subscription cost has raised slightly almost every year now yet there are never really any new features or anything. I just noticed the other day actually, Ring did add new features, but locked it behind ANOTHER separate subscription. I really don’t get why they felt the need to make an entirely new and separate subscription add-on when I’m already paying one. I’ll miss out on those features since I really refuse to support their greed, but it does bother me that the camera quality is pretty lackluster. Especially in low-light environments, you really can’t see much as the night vision is pretty bad. It does the trick though I guess. I’m sure there’s better options and especially ones from companies that don’t try to nickel and dime you, but this product is probably below average. I would maybe have it for a vacation home or property that I’m not at often, but I really would not recommend this for a primary home.

Gets the job done, helps to keep my place secured. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that im watching my place when im away from it.

This is my third Ring Video Doorbell. Not because they broke, but because I bought new ones each time I moved. The video subscription can transfer to your new device and the videos from the previous devices are stored. Anyway, Great product and a reasonable price.

I really like the ring. I have another doorbell that kept going offline and was difficult to reset. Ring is more simple to operate and does everything I need it to on my front door.
