We bought this one to put on a different part of our house so it wouldn’t be noticeable. I have all the settings at the “ recommended setting” as well as the motion detection about halfway- and it still drains the battery. It worked really good for a month and then started going downhill. I didn’t want to invest in the solar charger as this was just supposed to be a backup and not our main camera. Also, ring app doesn’t recognize when you plug it in to charge it. Will continually say it is on battery power instead of hardwired. I have had to “ reset” this device more times than I should have. Will most likely be investing in hardwired security camera for our house and not mess with anything that is battery powered.

Installation was easy, but I did encounter a hiccup on software setup and had to redo it a couple times, but once it worked all the way through, it's worked great since. Nice features and price!

Ours did not give a clear night vision picture. The ring has great quality video. We are happy we switched. Plus the fee was the right price too.

Both Best Buy and Ring were incredibly helpful when I was missing a component. Their quick and effective support has been impressive. I’ll update my review once I’ve had a chance to use it.
