I work from home and my office is in the lower level. It alerts me when my clients are here. I have it set to medium sensitivity level so it doesn't go off every time drives by or a bird flies.

Bought it to use at vacation home located outside of the U.S. Using the Ring app, I can view the main entrance at the home anytime around the clock. No problem connecting device to the local wifi and I’m able to communicate via the mic/speaker in nearly real-time, even if the location is 3k miles away.
