I purchased the ring doorbell to be notified of package deliveries and minimize opportunity for theft. I was able to install the doorbell and continue to use my existing Doorbell chimes. I am not sure that it will ever be a deterrent for theft, however it allows me to respond quickly to visitors and deliveries. For this reason, I am ver happy with the purchase.

Wow!!! Best thing coming and going! Adds safety and security and peace of mind especially here at holidays for deliveries. I still have to find time to explore all options. And decide if monitoring or self monitoring. I need to see if videos immediately disappear or what. Still it’s great and highly recommend it. I had a competitor indoor item and Ring beats it hands down

Good easy to install works like it said good picture easy to use

I was already in the Ring ecosystem when I bought this. I live in an apartment so I bought a cheap door mount kit from that other famous online retailer. Make sure you have a beefy USB charger available before you start. Noy sure what my deal was but it took about 8 hours to charge and you have to finish that before you set it up in the app. That part was pretty straightforward. Charge time aside it's been running for about 6 weeks on that initial charge. Just make sure you do your online research and set your privacy and sharing options accordingly. Having it feels like living in the future.

We hadn't ever had an electronic doorbell, so this was a good start. Once I got it set up and adjusted, it works great. I had to adjust the sensitivity and turn off the top zone as it was saying that someone was at the door when it was actually a car going by. It's easy to adjust and I like having the security to watch packages at the door when I'm not home along with being able to see if someone goes near my car.

We have several Ring doorbells, for multiple homes. Have never had any issues. I am not one of those 'handy men', but was able to hardwire install this on my own. Instructions were easy to follow and works great. If you do not ant to hardwire, makes installation even easier, and the battery is easily taken out for recharge if needed.

I love my ring doorbell. I can’t hear people knocking at my back door and this allows me to see and speak to those who are outside. It was easy to install and set up. I can also see my backyard and know what is going on outside if I need to.

Excellent for the price. I was concerned if this being the base model would mean it felt limiting in some way to use, but it does everything I hoped. Clear video, the setup is easy, and the battery so far is lasting a good while. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely easy to install and put together. Charged it for about an hour and it was good to go. We haven’t had any issues. Only thing i don’t like is how you have to go to the actual website to manage your account versus being able to update in the app.

I loveeee my Ring Doorbell. It's comforting that I can see what's going on around my home while I'm anywhere. It was so easy to install. Very easy to navigate through the app. I love that I don't have to go see who's at the door. I can just look on my phone and see who it is. And I really love that other Ring users post so you can watch out. I would definitely recommend this product.

Product easy to install, user friendly and clarity

The ease of installation, overall performance, quality, and easy integration into our already existing Ring products, has made this product a fantastic purchase. My only complaint is that we wasted so much time on other doorbells before converting to this one!

I figured I'd better join the rest of the hood and get one of these guys for the 'neighborhood watch'. I got the cheapest one but its addictive and right away you want to start getting accessories. Install was super fast and easy. Had everything done, wired up with app etc in 30 minutes. The video quality on this most basic model is superb.

This product is amazing. I bought 4 of them after this first purchase LOL the camera helps my family be more aware and alert with what’s going on outside at the door. This camera sees in the dark. You can set with up with Alexa and on your phone. also for a low monthly cost you can get the ring subscription to save any of your recordings and you’re a part of the Ring Family Network which is a community that keeps you updated with what’s going on in your area and other areas. I love this ring door camera. Especially it lets me see if my package is delivered or not and the thought of someone stealing is less because you’ll go right to the door as soon as the camera catches the package at your door. My only thing is the camera lags and you can talk to others through the camera but it gets blurry a lot and the camera gets stuck in mid sentence when you’re talking to someone and it gives camera recording gals and I don’t like that and it’s a bit tough setting it all up, can be frustrating BUT for what it’s worth , this Ring Door Camera is absolutely Amazing and I definitely recommend this product

Works well for the price - a good budget-friendly video doorbell. Catches mail carriers, pizza deliveries, fox, squirrels and rabbits. I like seeing all of it. Super easy install, too. If you can use a screwdriver you're all set. Just a heads up, there is a yearly subscription to view videos after the trial period. I like having that option. You can save videos to your favorite device too!

Works great! Slick design, compared to the other models that take a battery. Easy to install. Also, it fits better in areas where you wouldn't be able to fit the bigger models. Another plus is the smaller price tag. I am pretty impressed with this one.

Decent camera, bought on sale. Wish the quality of the image was better. Easy to use, and install.
