It will take some getting use to, but overall it is fine item .The range of the doorbell is excellent because it picks up all motion in the door area. The landing is very sensitive to any movement in the immediate area of it. My wife and I very pleased.

I love how we can monitor our home while away from home. Also has strong live connection and you can talk, view anyone in front of your doorstep. Cons: may have some lag time every now and then.

Delays are often related to wifi connection or mobile device variables. A delay of under six seconds is expected due to signal fluctuation.
To learn more about your device's signal strength, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select the Ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the Device Health tile.
Scroll to Signal Strength under the Network section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good; red is poor.

It stop connecting to the wifi which I bought a wifi extender specifically for it to be near the front door. It also loses battery life within days of fully charging it. It’s ridiculous. Today July 18 I bought a new one from target, the battery operated one. Let’s see if the battery operated one is better then this piece of junk.
