I hardwired it to my house, so it is always on and I do not have to worry about battery life! Great product!

I bought the less expensive version that needs to be taken off and charged periodically. This is easy for me to do, so i felt no need for a solar charger.

I had to take away a star because the app is annoying. It crashes at times for no reason or will cause my phone to say there’s “not enough room to install this app” even though there’s more than enough space. I don’t understand why logging on straight to the ring website can’t offer the same functions so the app can be avoided all together.

You can program response Or just answer the ring. Interesting Feature is the alert feature.
