Other than that highly recommend. Just get the solar charger or some other way to keep it charged.

The Ring Protect Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like you have some concerns regarding the optional Ring Protect Plans. The Ring Protect Plan is a subscription that gives you access to paid features for your Ring device. With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account.
Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

It alerts us to deliveries and traffic near our home. It also gives us the opportunity to go live and see and hear activity at our door.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 2nd generation Ring doorbell is solid overall but i was disappointed at how there are times when it doesn't pic up a person on the camera history because it requires the person to be too directly in front of the camera. it has a wide angle lens but doesn't report on someone unless they are in more directly in front of the camera.
