Currently, upon setup of your new Ring doorbell you will receive a 30-day trial of the Ring Protect Plan. After the 30-day trial is up, you will be given the option to subscribe to one of the plans. While subscribed to one of our Ring Protect Plans, you will have access to videos of every motion and live view event. Without this service, you will still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone and have access to the live view feature.
Ring Community launched in March 2019 to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our neighbors. It is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another and share their feedback and experiences with Ring. I only gave it four stars because sometimes it doesn't pick up motion but it could also be me hitting something wrong. Installation and set up were really fairly easy as long as you follow the directions well
