Based on your review, it appears you may be having some trouble with your home’s chime kit ringing properly. The Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) is compatible with AC-powered door chimes operating between 8-24 volt AC transformers, but is not compatible with wireless door chimes or any chime/intercom system using a DC transformer. I'm satisfied with this doorbell, but I learned an important lesson, purchase the extended warranty!

If only people motion setting, unless someone stares into the camera, you get no notification.

Picture can be a little fuzzy/grainy at times, but it provides the added security that I need. Definitely recommend as long as you can deal with the picture at times.
