I live in an apartment near to the stairways. It didnt detect visitors well. And i liked blink more as it has the hardware unit to plug in usb for locally saving clips unlike ring.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this and I like the plan that Ring offers for the price of the year, but the big downfall for this is that when you get a motion notification and you try to see it played back it takes like a minute or two for the video to fully process in order for you to see it. By the time that you’ve seen the video the person probably already left. Another ding for me is also the battery life. We’ve had it for a month and it’s already down to 52%. I really doubt that the advertised battery life will hit 6 months.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your doorbell from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
