    My daughter in law adores it. Their own doorbell was broken, now they can see and talk to who is at the door. She loves it and won't stop playing with it.

    I haven't install it yet because I'm waiting for best buy tech to come to my house but i have friends that have it and they're happy with this product .

      Our top priority at Ring is to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience with our products. We really appreciate your feedback. Our team is always striving to improve our products and their performance.

      The more events captured by your Ring Doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the live HD Video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner. In addition, the battery is also drained each time you use the Live View to look or speak through your camera. To prevent excessive activity, you can adjust your motion settings to a lower sensitivity, disable certain zones, adjust the motion frequency to best fit your needs, or adjust the direction of your Ring device.

      If you are experiencing poor audio or video quality during a live view, but your recordings are fine, this can be caused by either a poor connection between your mobile device and the cloud servers, or a connectivity problem between the Ring device and your router. In rare cases, however, this can be caused by settings in your router. It is imperative that we get your Video Doorbell(2020) setup and working to its full potential.     I wish I hadn’t spent my money on this, after a couple of months it started disconnecting from the network and sometimes does not let me watch the recordings because “I don’t have a active subscription” when I did paid for the whole year. Called customer service it took like an hour for somebody to answer.

It is imperative that your Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) detect and alert you to the motion events that matter the most to you. The motion sensors in your Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) are designed to detect motion up to 155° horizontally and from five to 30 feet outward from the fixture. They're also more sensitive to horizontal movement across the detection area than vertical.

      Here are a few pro-tips for making the most of the motion detection feature on your Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release):

      - Utilize the Near Zone feature.
      - Look for high traffic areas and exclude them.
      - Mount the device at about 48 inches (1.22 m) from the ground.
      - If your door is atop a set of stairs or a hill, install with a wedge kit. This should ensure the doorbell catches a visitor's motion as it approaches.
      - Set the Motion Frequency to 'Frequent', to ensure all motion is detected.

    My worse purchase ever

    I bought this video doorbell because I have another Ring (different model) in my daughter's apartment and works good, but this one was terrible. The camera doesn't work well, I never could see when someone was approached to my door and also never get the motion alerts. Poor quality of the image on videos of the few times it was recorded. I contacted BestBuy Geek Squad and they replaced for another one. I gave another try for de same model, but it was the same thing for the first one, so I give up for that. I replaced this model for the newest model. So far, I still not 100% satisfied.

    It’s fine but App could do better

    Very good so far. App needs improvement to quickly and easily turn it off to not record video when it’s you getting out or coming back home. I know you can delete the video but it may seem easier if you can just turn it off momentarily

    Can't remove battery

    This unit has an internal battery that cannot be removed. So if you have it hardwired, and you want to change the battery, you must unwire it and remove the entire unit. Not okay, returned to store.

      To charge the battery for your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen.), please follow these steps:
      Remove the security screws at the base of the doorbell and lift the doorbell up and away from the mounting bracket.
      Plug your micro-USB cable into the port on the back of the device.
      When the battery is fully charged, the blue LED light will be fully lit. Unplug the micro-USB cord and reattach the device to the mounting bracket using the security screws.

    Doesn’t work with my mom’s house

    I bought this for my mom’s birthday. We tried to set it up today, but the wires made it go to overdrive, so it couldn’t work. By the time of looking into this to see i could return it, i missed the deadline by 1 day. I work for the warehouse in KY, so i want to see if i could get a refund so my siblings and i can get their money back.
